i'd love for you to talk about how ZZZ implies how horrific and dangerous the world is without actually ever actually going full despair/depression in your face in the way that, say, project moon games occasionally do. The prosthetics, the overwhelming prevalence of found family, the total lack of surprise at violence, death, backdoor dealing, etc. The way machines joke about how they're discarded, the way you can rarely tell how much everyone else knows, the way so much shit happens in the background that sounds like people should know but... it's just not news, in the worst way. People being corrupted, bangboo having various existential crises, gangs and raiders splitting, breaking, dying, characters of all sorts just dropping cold and raw lines like it's nothing and yet... Everyone just keeps chugging along. Why DOES lycaon have rocket boot prostheses? Is it really 'just as a cool equip'? When did miyabi lose her arm? Why does harumasa stick around with HSOS6 when he's complaining all the time? Where did thirens come from? What regulations does Qingyi have to follow? Why are bangboo treated more or less as tools or slaves, despite having at least the intellect of a child? What other horrors beyond human comprehension have TOPS done? How do we know the people we interact with aren't exaltists? What does it feel like to be corrupted, besides the pain? Is there a special result when the first person to be corrupted into a 'Template,' are corrupted into that template? Who the fuck came up with the W-engine (literally: 'sound engine' in CN, in fact it's a portmanteau) system? so many questions, and so few answers. We just have to keep reading into it. After all, This is the Nation that creates Miracles.

Love the video! I love how you broke each of them down on how they took in a situation and their reactions to it. The characterizations were spot on! Would love to see more of these with the other facitions, especially the sons.

I just started playing this game this week. Its been a very humbling experience solo, but playing with friends has gone a lot better (we made it just past the sand zone as our best run)
