Fundamentaly beezer was far superior to Richter. I will say to my dying day beezer was the more talented goalie. Richter was sloppy all over the place. He made ALOT of easy saves look difficult because of his style. Rangers actually could of won cup in 92 if he didn't blow pitt series for them with his awful play

Big Louie Debrusk playing on the first line with Nichols and Amonte! He got up and down his wing pretty nicely too! That line scored a couple goals that game! Unfortunately there was really no place for Louie on the team that year as they were loaded with toughness with Kocur, Domi, and King all in the lineup regularly

Remembering this moment, so long ago now, watching in my uncles basement with brother and 2 cousins; all of us long suffering Rangers fans. When Matteau skates around the net I didn't expect him to try a wrap-around. When the puck slides over the goal line I jumped up and nearly punched a hole in the ceiling!! I was yelling like a maniac......WE'RE GOING TO THE FINALS!!!!!

Was so lucky to be there that night. Section 333 Row K seat 4 and 5. our season tickets. What is even more amazing is that there were seats available on GAME DAY for Game six at the meadowland. We snagged 4 seats that morning and myself and 3 friends saw the Messier guarantee game as well. This was followed up by what I consider to be the greatest hockey game ever played. Game 7, ECF 1994.
