Dr. Slump Lost pilot VS 1981 anime
Little is known about this pilot, but I think it's supposed to be the entire first episode. The only other thing I've found related to it are some postcards which depict later scenes, like when Arale is in school playing ball. That's it really. I hope more info comes out now that part of the pilot exists in such a pristine quality.

This began as an experiment. I've always had the strong believe that title cards, as romantic as they are, completely ruin the flow of silent films. I wanted a version without the damn intercards, with only subtitles. But that doesn't exist. I began giving subtitles to the 1925 Phantom, but then I started having too much fun with it. Enjoy

I remember seeing this awhile ago but I'm just now realizing how much more dreamlike(?) the pilot is compared to the finished product. Maybe it's just the lower budget but idk
