Another weekly check-in as I do my final long run ahead of a mini taper for Stevenage Marathon 2024. I also take in NHRR 1st Saturday of the Month 5k - a free, monthly 5k in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

Marathon training continues with Week 10 of 13 for Stevenage Marathon. Penultimate 'long' run sees me venture around Letchworth, making up a route to Letchworth parkrun due to flooding. Time for attempt #2 at a long run after last weeks abandonded effort. This time its over to Stevenage parkrun for a parkrun sandwich, but will I make the start in time? And will the forecasted torrential weather stay away?!

Join me as I continue my journey to Stevenage Marathon, going from a torn calf in May and next to zero fitness to trying to take the start line with 13 weeks of training. Training has been going well this week, but illness may scupper this weeks training - hopeful of bouncing back in Week 9.
