Trail Camera Highlights 2022 part 3 (Fall & Winter)
Just got one. I'm hoping it will hold 3 days in clothes for my short trips. If it doesn't I will badd some pouches to expand it.
Let us know how that does!
Can you haul meat between the bag and frame?
unfortunately it does not
looks a lot smaller than the x2 pack that i run
It is smaller than the X2, however it suits our needs. Both are great packs!
I’ve got the X2 pack and I think I’d rather have that good review. I never seen anybody review that for a saddle pack. I have such a hard time finding a good mobile saddle pack.
Always has been my favorite part of the powell to fish
Hopefully gonna try to float some more of it this summer since DWR open a new access launch near jonesville.
@@appalachianoutdoorsman276 i didn't know that. I may need to check that out
Oh man. Maybe you can get him next time
Thank you for the review and the feedback!
Really neat. Look like I'll have to check them out
Thank you for the video. My grandmother (1/2 Cherokee) was born on cranes nest river somewhere. About 130 years ago.
Very cool! My family has lived near the river for the last 100 years
Any trout in that river?
No trout is stocked in Guest River Gorge, however some streams that flow into the river are so its possible but not likely.
Did you go after heavy rains, or is this stretch normally navigable? Im about to move to Cwood and am always on the lookout for outdoor fun (im from Florida).
it was after some rain but the river stretch is mostly navigable at least until the later summer.
Man IDK how you do it. Hunting, filming, remembering to talk to the camera about stuff, not to mention lugging everything around. Bravo!
It is. But I only film about 5% of what I do. If I filmed everything it would be more like work. And talking to the camera i just imagine the camera is like a video call so i just talk like I'm telling people what's going on. And it's taken time but I've stripped my camera gear to bare essentials.
I have floated the Powell many times, usually from the 25E bridge in Harrogate TN to Lonesome Valley. It is usually a 6-8 hour trip f you take your time.
Thanks to mountain top removal mining, the watershed is about gone and the damn water with it. I'm surprised even a kayak could stay afloat. John Fox Jr. once caught a fish over three ft. long and about 40 lbs. That would never happen now.
Thats cool i used to do the same as a kid never knew they were edible
If your ever up toward Richlands; it would be fun to get together and fish. I put in at blackford bridge near rosedale a few weeks ago. It's about 3 miles down to honaker from there but it's good fishing that no one without a kayak can get too.
Sounds awesome, well have to get in touch and plan a trip next spring or summer.
Will do I've been catching some nice ones the past couple months.
Beautiful!
You need a cameraman/hunting partner, I may know a guy......
any time man. your more than welcome. just hit me up.
Love it.
Nice to see I’ve had mine out since October and just got a monster 10 or more point buck last night on camera
been tracking a 10 point on my camera as well. already got an 8 pointer early in muzzle loader season.
That's a sweet lil travel rod! Good luck out there -- Keep it up! Sub from me!
Was Great to meet you!!
Hey! great to meet you too man! look forward to more of you videos!
