Actually I am very surprised that it does smell very nice! I have now one in bloom and because you asked I checked and was very surprised that it smelled like Lalique perfume. But I can't say if it is same smell like Masora. Yua has very many petals and sometimes it can't open all if it is raining and it becomes "balling" (flowers never open)

I think it should be no problem Japan Tokyo is listed as zone 10A however sometimes it does go to minus 5 Celsius that would mean as low as 9B. Also this Rose comes from northern Europe where it's way colder than Japan so it should be fine in your area, it is a very sturdy Rose!

No no, not tea ☕ to drink! White Tea is just the name of the perfume, flower fragrance. For some reason there are type of roses named Tea, Hybrid Tea. I don't know why that name was chosen, maybe because they originated from China and it is famous for tea 😂

Cut young branches of about 12cm, make sure there are 2-3 leaf nodes. Gently remove the leaves. You can keep it in a glass of water ( you can add some growth hormones in the water if you have) for half a day and then just stick it up to the lowest node in the garden soil (4cm). It's the most simple way but I find it works best. Especially done in autumn when it is not so hot anymore. If you are lucky it will grow roots until spring time and grow. If you live in cold area you can cover it with an empty glass jar over winter to keep the humidity inside. You can do this with roses from flower shop too but do it immediately when purchased, not when it is wilted in the flower vase.

Thank you for asking we have heard of this Japanese rose by Imai Nursery but did not yet have the chance to see it in person or film it. It appears to be beige brown to lilac with large flowers many large petals, cup shaped and vigorous stem growth. Medium strong fresh fragrance. As soon as we have the chance to find it somewhere we will add it to the video collection 😉

These are garden roses so they won’t be at parks or public gardens. U may be able to see them at the breede’s shop “baranoie”. Search it on google.

The Luxor I saw it at a Rose & Gardening Exhibition in Yokohama but that was just 5 days in May, not anymore. I don't think you can see Luxor anywhere in Japan except if you go all the way to the headquarters of the Rosa Orientis, Bara no ie shop, it is quite far from Tokyo and as far as I know there is no connection to the nearest train station so you might have to walk for 30 minutes to there.

You mean Confiture rose and Masora? Confiture has slightly more petals grows 90-120cm but Masora wants to be a large shrub 120-150 cm. It was created earlier than Confiture. Both of them have nice scent. So probably Confiture is a little smaller and the flowers are more full, fruity-tea scent so it depends how much space you have where you want to plant them.

It could be that this one because of the rain it was not able to really open up all those many big petals and so the smell did not have the chance to come out. I did find this in other place and they were smelling really nice over there on the roadside 🤔 so I think you can go ahead to purchase it if your main point is the smell 🤗

Ours grow around 50-60 cm and then they get trimmed back since we do not have much space to let them grow longer than that so they are able to produce flowers at that height of 50 cm

This one is also only sold to florists as cut Flower.. you can try to make your own seedling if you have a cut flower but that will be hard to find in India

Yes they only sell cut flowers...

Do you know that exporting plants, each needs a "phytosanitary certificate" to prove that they do not bring disease and viruses to the other country so I don't know which Japanese rose breeder bothers to go through that procedure. I think usually it's rather they need a representation in the foreign country and the Roses would be bred locally and sold by this representative.. so Meilland Roses sold in Japan are bred in Japan for example. I know that people sell rose seedlings on Etsy but not sure how legal it is and often due to the long transport times the plants don't arrive in good condition

Yes I got 7 different species 😊 however when I bought them they were looking very unique and rare colors but this year the ones that bloomed were rather blue all and mor simple shape. I guess one must really apply Lime powder to the roots in order to keep them pink or purple 🤔 and stop them from reverting to blue 🔵
