What do you call doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result? Is it "Insanity" or "Archery?"
String Music Archery is a channel dedicated to the archery addiction, with and emphasis on the DIY aspect of the sport.
I will show off my gear and try to explain WHY I've made the choices I've made. I will try new things and be honest about my opinions. Any tips or tricks I discover along the way, will be shared with any who care to watch.
Also, I hope to tap into the RUclips community to further my archery experience. RUclips was once a truly social site for sharing ideas and information, and if there's still any of that out there on the archery side of things, I hope to find it all!

The DOBA Archery Secret
It is my belief that the 3 pillars of archery accuracy are 1. absolutely consistent form 2. properly tuned equipment and 3. having a strong mental game. In this video, I'm showing you a tool that I've used for years to help sharpen my mental game. With this you either hit it or you don't. This CHEAP little device has helped me learn to focus on the middle of the target and not really consider the rest of the target. It seems the more ping pong balls I shoot, where its all or nothing, the more 10's I can hit. It seems to help me keep the anxiety levels in check and stay hyper-focused on the part of the target that counts the most.

Have you ever had a "Robin Hood?" They're fun and make great keepsakes but with the cost of arrows, a couple of these or busted nocks, will teach you to aim a different spots in a hurry!! DIY - ARCHERY TARGET

I made this target a while ago, and didn't film the build. However, it was time to shuffle the layers, so I thought I would take a moment to show the construction and the process. This had a little bit of an investment upfront in purchasing the gym flooring mats, but by periodically, shuffling them around this may end up being a "lifetime" target.
