Tough. What she did was disgusting. Many of the rules for US teachers are ridiculously unfair (such as those around CPD) but I wouldn’t want her as a colleague. These are not UK rules, which are fair around CPD. Part 2 of the UK teacher standards (professional conduct, public perception, etc.) is fair and right.

Here's my story: So there's a teacher in our school who gets angry for stupid reasons . I'll call her [P] . P'S always like this. Everyone hates her. She scolds students over the smallest reasons. Today what happened was another teacher had asked for me and my friend to meet her in P's period. Out of respect we both stayed in the class until P came , so we could ask for her permission. Because we know what she's like. We knew that If we'll go without informing her we'll get scolded. So we had asked for her permission and P just nodded us to go and we went. Then ME and my friend met the other teacher and she then dismissed us soon enough. Being a good and well mannered student We didn't bunked the class and we went back and there P was teaching. I stood at the door and asked for her permission for to come in. She just ignored us and then continued teaching then some after some time , P told us to get in and then guess what she told us because of us the whole class got disturbed , her concentration got disrupted and so on. Then she shouted at us to hurry back to our seats [ which we obviously were but do we have superpowers or what-? We can't travel in the speed of light] Then we sat but P continued to shout at us then insulted us . P told us next time you guys either don't go out or to get out of her class . My friend being innocent continued to listened to her teaching being attentive but me NO that was ENOUGH. I surely had enough of her nonsense and shit . What does she thinks she is?? A teacher? NO. that's bullying and disrespecting . Does she thinks just because of her position as a teacher. She can scream her lungs out at her and treats us like shit?? I didn't argued back or anything just for the sake for my classmates because if I had tried explaining to her. P will accuse me for talking back to her then she will not teach the rest of the class. She has done this multiple times with other classrooms . So bearing it and clenching my fists I sat silently. And then I had tried to forgive her and forget about it out of respect cause She's my teacher, I try to wish her good morning and all but she just rolls her eyes and ignores like come on . Give respect take respect. She's really a bully, she has not yet raised her hands at me but I had seen her slap other students out of anger and she's really getting on my nerves nowadays. Because of high self egoistic teachers like her The whole school's reputation and teacher's reputation go in vain . We are also human beings we deserve to get treated respectfully not to be treated like some peasants. Plus if you guys think I'm being dramatic and all ? No .! I'm speaking out for all the students there who can't raise their voices and speak up against the toxic teachers. I wonder how she even manages to sleep peacefully after destroying someone's mental health.?? Do you think I'm making a fuss over a small scolding? NO.! Her behaviour is unacceptable. Because of her, many other students also had to bear with her behaviour and bullying. As a student I'll continue to respect my teachers but they should also learn to respect the students . But the toxic ones don't deserve it. We deserve to get respected by our teachers also. Our parents don't send us to school to be treated like shit.
