The importance of learning instruments and healing through music
Просмотров 473 месяца назад
#lunakeller #weatheringgrains #mentalhealth It is my hope that people continue to learn how to play instruments and create music that is not soulless. Honing these skills along with the ability to play live will become increasingly necessary in the advent of AI. I also perform a stripped down version of my new song, "You Are Loved", my ode to positive mental health. linktr.ee/Tremdan

sounds so good on headphones! I love the panning effects and ethereal vibes 💫🤤💫
Thank you! Yes, I do indeed love a good headphone mix.
Sci-fi vibes at 7:23 walking through a passageway and the aftermath is revealed at 7:59. Very cool!
Thanks so much my friend! Cheers!

This is the best looping I've ever heard. Very beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you! I’ve spent countless hours working on my sound and style, so I really appreciate that. Cheers!

Congratulations on releasing the course Dan 🎉
Thanks very much! It’s always nice to finally finish something that I’ve been talking about doing for such a long time!
Let's go! 🎉
Such a relief to finally get this thing going after 4 years of talk!
@@DanTremblayMusic it's about DA(m)N time!
mmmmm interesting.....really interesting...let's chat soon..just need this crazy spring and summer to finish and i will reach out...if it's ok...going dodo now...have a nice week end
Sounds good! Cheers!
👏🌊🏖🌊🐬🌊 Wonderful roadmovie/seamovie around a minimal chord progression🌟💫✨ Cheers 🧊🍹🧊 Only one spuky question: How are preparing precise positioning and depth of the instruments in the layers? You prepared some different big room/hall in your sends? May be 5 depth? Smal (near) middle, big (far), very big (very far), in the backgound (behind the horizon)…? In the STEREO field is not so much „place“ for too much stacked layer? I love ‚SPATIAL AUDIO‘ (Surround/3D/ Dolby Atmos…) to habe more space to place complex soundscapes. In the STEREO field we have to work with tricks, from normal Mixing to special ->3D-Delays, you know what i mean? What‘s your resolution? Your tracks could win with some more 3D! Well done, live! 👏 Best greatings from bavarian country, germany Werner Gruber 🙏🏻😘 [my soundcloud Werner Gruber Album FLOATING POSTROCK: Stereo mix, but sounds nearly ‚spatial‘ and 3D, no dolby atmos renderer used!] Link: on.soundcloud.com/r61Fekwc51pXznjR6
Super chill ! Love it, greatest video of youtube best
woo! I get to catch the parts I missed on the road.
Cheers buddy.
Are these good for the writting process/sound design as well or should i only be using them for mixes/ final touches?
Yes, I think they would work very well for that. 👍
Love your point here. Limitations are good things for all of us. What would we do to make good music if you don't have all the fascinating equipment? Think this way, then we'll all figure out our best :x
@@dangha5942 so true! Thanks for watching.
Probably my favorite of all your songs (and that's saying something!). Love you, Dan. Appreciate you.
@@KaerriRainshadow ah, thanks so much friend! It’s a honest song that I hope brings light to anyone out there who’s struggling. I’m looking forward to finally having the studio version out there!
@@DanTremblayMusic That's why I like it so much. 💞
Wonderful advice
Music is tough! Tough to learn and tough to earn... But I think it would be one of the most fulfilling fields to be in.
It certainly is tough but also incredibly rewarding! Cheers my friend, always nice to see you.
These are good life tips too. :) I know I struggle with embracing change, but it can be good sometimes.
Truth! We can all identify with that. Cheers, friend!
Great tips, my friend!
Love these tips Dan! Miss the Danhawk though.
I also miss it! Remind me never to shave my head again! 🤣
Reminiscent of the music from a game called Outer Wilds! Great stuff
Interesting. I’m not familiar with that game, will have to check it out. Thanks for watching!
There still isn’t any real starter technique for using a daw that really clicks with most people starting with the qwerty and shortcuts /key commands. It’s like brail and I can’t get used to it still to this day . So it’s a misery for me . I grew up totally without any training on the qwerty and when I attempted to learn it I found out it triggers my ptsd very badly so I have stuck to the mouse method to avoid that . On iOS I was very happy for the most part with gadget and garage band hoping to be able to use logic with touch instead someday convinced that would eliminate fidgeting with unintelligible tools driven by keyboard shortcuts etc. I was wrong. The iOS version of logic infuriated me twice as much because unlike GarageBand it’s clunky cluttered and expects me to use the hideous stylus I hate too. And unlike GarageBand where you simply touch a clip to open editing tools etc and song sections to assemble parts length of patterns they’re totally not incorporated in logic for iOS . So I’m now struggling with sync in logic on the computer with my hardware which ableton link runs in but I can’t figure it out either. Searching for an answer online is usually impossible because everything takes too long to get to the explanation. 👽😐😖
I stumbled across this in preparation for my next scoring project, where I plan to use Tundra extensively. Great composition, I really liked how it turned out. Thanks, you have a new follower :)
Thanks for watching and best of luck on your new project. Cheers!
Simply beautiful
Thanks very much!
Great performance ! And more goosebumps for me !
Thanks buddy, and for all your support. 🙏🏻
Sounds really good! Love the song at the end too. Everyone should stream and buy it.

Looking at Mac mini M2 Pro base model + Apple Cinema Display 30 inch or Thunderbolt Display 27 inch. Best price/performance setup right now.
Sweet setup!
I just happened across this video and decided to watch it. I’ve been making music for over 30 years now, but over the past 4.5 I’ve been solely DAW based. I use both GarageBand iOS and Logic Pro for iPad. I do have quite a bit of 3rd party plugins but most the time I use the stock sounds and effects. This one was started in GB iOS and then moved to LP4iP to add more and then finish it off. Everything you hear is stock instruments and effects. I didn’t use any 3rd party anything for this. Please let me know what you think. ruclips.net/video/1q7OTnzJUE4/видео.htmlsi=kN3l78l8OmjBXyE1
