I truly wish I could say it gets better but doctors on the floor at hospitals I've worked at are just as bad. It's very unfortunate. Keep doing you and move forward. They talk about you because they need to deflect attention off of their shortcomings. I have noticed at the hospital usually the doctors trashing other doctors are the ones who make the most mistakes, have horrible bedside manner, and went into medicine for the wrong reasons. None of that applies to you <3 Keep going!

Videos like this can unfortunately only hurt you. Residency is no better regarding gossip. Navigating it is definitely tough, but would urge that public displays are not seen highly. Head down, tunnel vision, focus on the goal which I am sure you are doing already.

I am PA and I love your videos! Your journey is so inspiring. Those who are making fun of you or "gossiping" about you probably should not be in medicine. Patients do not need toxic providers. Keep doing you! Plus, they have nothing on your finance background! They are just mad because you will be rich and famous!

If there’s one thing I’ve realized, it’s that there are idiots everywhere, no matter the educational background. The good news is, you don’t need to please everyone - and thank goodness for that! Why would you want to be friends with people like that anyway? Why do they act that way? Lots of reasons: some want to fit in, some feel insecure or jealous, or maybe it’s a mix of both. Often, they lack character because they’re afraid to be who they truly want to be (and deep down, this frustrates them even if they don’t realize it). Some, of course, are simply bullies. I hope you don’t change who you are - your personality is the reason I subscribed! 💖

Your channel is fun, educating, and professional. Envious people are some of the ugliest.

I hate to say this but it’s like that in the workforce too. I always say I feel like I’m back in high school cause everyone wants to be in other people’s business. So since you’re a DO student, do you think it’ll be harder to match into a competitive specialty? I’ve considered DO over MD for my own personal reasons but I’m also interested in a surgical field? What kind of factors are in consideration when applying to a competitive specialty as a DO?
