The gospel is proclaimed as "good news" because it is what God has done for us in Christ to redeem and free us for his service. In Galatians Paul wrote about "other gospels" in contrast with the one true gospel. Many people are proclaiming some kind of gospel. But do you know God's? Lobola has made getting married a struggle for black people. It literally says “if you ain’t making money, you ain’t getting a wife.” Then people wonder why blac people are the main race that’s not ashamed to have kids out of wedlock, coz most can’t afford to get married. This results to men being more promiscuous, women devaluing themselves by sleeping around and at the end you know what we have? Single mothers everywhere. 78% of South African black children are born out of wedlock. You know why? Because weddings are just so unrealistic to most blacks people coz of lobola money. How is the poorest race, expected to pay money they could be using to build their future. Just for that hard earned money to be given to parents for doing their job. Phela parents raising us is not a favour hey.

Egypt, Ethiopia and North Africa had large Christian populations which is why many church councils were held in Africa. Because of lsIamic conquests in the 7th century, African lands became mainly Muslim. Had Islam never succeeded, North Africa would still be Christian.

Is Lobola a gift or price? Is it Biblical? It finds its origin in Zulu and Xhosa languages. Unique to southern Africa and refers to an old age custom where a man pays the family of his soon-to-be-wife for her hand in marriage. Other countries have similar customs where they use different words to describe the practice for example, (mahandi in Sesotho and enjuugano in Uganda). It is sometimes translated as bride price and a solemn practice that might end up being a source of scandal if not properly respected. Lobola is determined extremely formally done by serious counsel from relatives particularly the men and the parties involved. These negotiations do not allow the bride to be present and she completely has no voice in this process. The practice goes back centuries, the way it is practiced today has little resemblance to its original purpose or function in African society, (Scheidler, 2014). What does the bible say about Lobola? As with many issues that concern us these days, we do not have any specific instruction or directive from the Bible about it. However, we do have some verses that might shed light on this subject. We obviously know that there was no such practice involved in the very first marriage between Adam and Eve, (Gen 2:18-24). The first reference is when Abraham was seeking a wife for his son, (Gen 24). In this story, we find that there is no mention of bride-price, only gifts, also notice that the gifts were given after the agreement. Because the nature of gifts is that it is determined by the giver and not the receiver. Abraham’s servant determined what to give, while Lobola is determined by the receiver which we do not see taking place in Rebecca’s case, but we do see in today’s Lobola. The second reference is when Jacob worked for 7 years to marry Rachel, (Gen 29). Here, Jacob too determined how many years to work as a gift for Rachel, Laban never determined the years. What does this mean? Based on the two stories, it seems the culture in the bible was more gifts of appreciation for allowing the marriage to take place, rather than a price. It is neither specifically forbidden nor, is it promoted in the bible. However, in modern times it is more of a price than a gift and it is being abused. Most people would argue saying, “we have to charge more because we spent a lot of money raising our child’, but do you not think the man’s parents or guardians also spent a lot of money raising him? It’s sad because some of these engaged couples with the men unable to pay the given huge price end up delaying the wedding and fall into sexual sin before marriage with intention that when they have a child together then the charge will reduce because he will just have to pay for the damage and get the woman and child, which sometimes does not work out for them. It should be practiced as a ceremonial token rather than a deliberating sum of money that sets the newlyweds up for failure. It should rather be used to benefit the couple getting married to help them set up their new household as it was originally intended. In our African society, it would be difficult for a young person to try and challenge or adjust parental authorities in such issues. Parents have the greater power to change or even redeem this practice, and maybe begin new traditions that are honorable before Go

He sad I don't have factory for girls this is only for good relationship in two families not about the price. He explain that some families never had cows in their day but they would still get married. The particular family will collect vegetables from their farm then give to the brides family. Thats just an appreciation and that's it.

This is an insult to the African Ancestors. The Bible still venerates Abraham, Isaac and Jacob including David who are dead Jewish Ancestors. Also when Elisha died and was buried, his bones were believed to raise the dead. So why do you think our African Ancestors are dead and powerless? You are brainwashed Africans. Wake up from the eurocentric religion.

With due respect sir, in all the scripture you read Paul never mentioned tithe but rather sacrificial giving. Please refer to the whole book of Hebrews so that the Holy Spirit will teach about the FULFILLMENT of of tithe in Christ Jesus. Tithe is only linked to the Levitical priesthood which has been changed or substituted by the priesthood of the tribe of Judah who did not whatsoever participate in the tithing transaction of tithe between Abraham and Melchizedek in the loins of the patriarch , only Levy was involved in that OLD transaction. Hi my brothers, Upfront, I say, we MUST be born again that's literally and truly ALL we need (Jn. 3:1-5), in order to have a connection or a relationship with God. *ON AFRICAN SPIRITUALITY/ANCESTRAL WORSHIP* Exodus 34:14 [14](for you shall worship no other god, (INCLUDING OUR DEAD PARENTS) the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God), Coming out of *430 years* of slavery in *Africa, in Egypt,* the all-knowing and jealous God strongly *commanded* the Israelites against seeking alternative supernatural solutions to life's real challenges apart from Him. He said: *10.* There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, *11* . or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or *one who calls up the dead.* *12. For all who do these things are an abomination (detestable, hateful, disgusting) to the Lord* , and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. *Deuteronomy 18:10‭-‬12 NKJV* Therefore, God will drive us out from His presence, out of His eternal home, heaven, if we insist on practicing what is abominable and hateful to Him in order to be politically or culturally correct in this fleeting life. There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. *Proverbs 14:12 NKJV* For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? *Mark 8:36 NKJV* *ONLY* *JESUS* is exclusively *the Mediator* and *THE WAY* to God, for us to access our solutions to life's problems from the Almighty God. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. *I Timothy 2:5 NKJV* Jesus said to him, “ *I AM THE WAY,* the truth, and the life. *No one comes to the Father except through Me."* *John 14:6 NKJV* May we repent, for rejecting God's *WAY*, and ask for His forgiveness and mercy regarding these issues, before it's eternally too late my brother. Thanks for reading my input. God bless you. ❤️😢

Sadly, Africans with military prowess and raw spiritual and physical powers in Africa, the white man still conquered us, why? Because the white man systematically disconnected us from our spirituality and from our connection to our Ancestors who could no longer help and protect us from the white man's invasion because we have forgotten them. Even the 5th commandment in the white man religion says honour your father and your mother. Your father and mother include your Ancestors. Although the white man has physically left us, we are still paralyzed by the opium of his religion and so the so called education he gave us. These have kept us away from our spirituality, culture and traditions and we remain powerless amongst the races of the world. It's time to start retracing steps back to our roots, of course with the good things in Babylon in which we have been lost.

These familiar spirits that rule Africans and other cultures has been the bondage for many and their destines which are never achieved because they are caught in the cycle of making sacrifices to beings, deities, other gods and kingdoms like the water kingdom instead of trusting in the creator God who created all. Sadly many Africans believe ancestral worship is part of the culture and continue to be trapped into talking to idols and unknown spirits that pose as their loved ones. Necromancy has been a set back for the continent and many have lost lives with these covenants knowingly and unknowingly from family bloodlines while these same familiar spirits that have attached to bloodlines and families to create the same problems that most seek to resolve as a never ending cycle strive since they have long been monitoring the bloodlines. From the days of our ancestors who lived before us who did not know any better these beings have attached to families as agents of confusion yet we are here as future generations to be more wise and advance from these bondages called culture and break generational curses. These spirits have become smart over the centuries to use bodies to keep them living as lost wondering spirits with no vehicle or body and so choosing bodies to live in and possess on this Earth from the spirit world to create chaos is how they thrive and we continue to have problems of abuse in families, early death, unknown sicknesses, poverty, witchcraft, resentment, rage, anger, jealousy, fear, suspicion, loneliness, never reaching destinies, infertility, divorce, violence, addictions, alcoholism, promiscuity and so forth where many forsake the kingdom of God for these spirits posing as loved ones or other kingdoms like the marine kingdom that likes to attach to families of beautiful women, handsome men, influential people or those with prophetic and artistic gifts for one to praise this kingdom for these gifts as if it’s from these mermaids when it’s all from God. Divination has been such an accepted practice in African cultures accepting and opening up to other portals that create all this turmoil and principalities in our nations believing we can take the place of God along with these unknown spirits that need these people as vehicles to have a voice and compete with the kingdom of heaven who also just rule in nothing but fear and manipulation. Only God can resolve and fix everything as your creator in heaven for he created all good and bad. He does not need any sacrifices and rituals other than your faith, belief, prayer and true intentions. Christianity is not from the coloniser but it was tampered with for the interests of colonisation yet Africans since ancient times have had the oldest form of Christianity in Ethiopia and beyond. The more our people identify with communicating with the dead who are no longer here as a source if help the deeper the bondage and chaos.
