Awesome review! Looks like a good kit to have.
Thankfully, I’ve never had to use it yet. But you never know, it’s better to have it not need it then need it and not have it.
@ I have a battery booster with me always. Mine just doesn’t have the pump.
Hey Johnny that’s a great product
I have never been stranded at a campsite before, knock on wood. But this would definitely come in handy if I ever did.
Awesome, what do they cost?
Hey Bobby, you can pick one of these up for $90 Canadian at the link above. Worth every penny, if you ask me.
@@JendellOverland It will make a great Christmas present for my kid brother.
Great video, but I was wondering what was that at the end of your video where you mounted the GoPro camera on? That looked super clean, what brand/item was that? Thank you!
Hey, I grabbed these off of amazon. Here is the link www.amazon.com/dp/B0BJKJTZX6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Good video, also the black flanged adapter on the side of your vehicle where the flex hose hooks up is of interest, where would I find one, thanks Richard.

Seems like this was a mildly simple trail, with the correct tires and some ground clearance being the most essential for dealing with those flooded areas, but this is clearly spring run-off. Good to see some footage of the trails I am hoping to take on in my Maverick, it ain't much compared to your rigs, but going to be starting with Kearney and Haliburton Highlands and see where I get after a year in this area before heading further North where y'all are here. Aside from dealing with snow in AT tires this doesn't look like anything I couldn't have done, if going back out the same way you went in, not sure I could get that culvert replacement, I would just be left in the river til they came back lol
@@HoratioCornblower yes, I am confident that you could easily find your way through this trail. Not very challenging, but the scenery was breathtaking
Why did the wench give out?
It was user error, after the rope snapped, I tied a knot to keep using it, but when I pulled myself, I didn’t see the knot was stopped at the fairlead. The winch tried pulling the knot through but couldn’t and it burnt out the ground wire.
Oops sorry, I answered from my other account
1:14 minutes and the background music became too much for me.
Sorry to hear, it was a successful repair 😊

Sorry, the celsius thing tells me nothing.
I agree, I only know Fahrenheit as well, and they know this too. That is why they included a decal on the side of the unit that shows Celsius and Fahrenheit. They got you covered.
@@JendellOverland Well, that is a good thing... A lot of these Chinese products only use celsius. I bought a heater and the thermostat is only in celsius. They might as well use Kelvin for everything, right? Ha. just remember 0 celsius is 273.15 Kelvin... which means nothing to me too. Thanks.
can you purchase an extension cable for the on screen display in the second machine
Are you talking about the white machine? If so, that one is permanently fixed to the outer casing and cannot be removed.
I like the rv waste gate valve air inlet
Yeah, my buddy Marc did it first, it was an interesting idea that worked out better than I thought it would.
I may have missed it, but how was the ticking sound usually found with diesel heaters?
@@garywheeler2055 on the pro model, it was non existent, on the standard model, you could only hear it if you were standing right in front of it. Both units were very quiet
@ thank you for replying 🍻
The muffler has a vent for condensation, ea it’s not air tight. It’s better to have on the end of the exhaust pipe. Thinking of buying a heater and been watching way to many reviews 😂 😊
Great point! I hope you find one that works for you. My Vevor that I had, failed on me a few times. So although the price is cheaper, so is the quality. 😊
That’s absolutely awesome! That’s definitely worth its weight in gold when it is -8 and you are in short sleeves inside!
Haha yep, it actually got sooooo flipping hot warm that it felt like a sauna, I had to turn the heat down 😅
When I fish in the wintertime I sleep in a motel Capper. Although that outfit you got could put me into fishing spots in the wintertime nobody else would be fishing. In the wintertime you got to have access to heat and shelter or your toast. I wonder what Pierre Radisson would think of your outfit. LOL
Yep, it got sooooo flipping hot in my tent, I was sweating like crazy, actually woke me out of a dead sleep. And it was -14 outside!
The snow makes it look really amazing. Its looks like a different world.😊
I couldn’t agree more, it was beautiful waking up to that, then driving on fresh snow with no other tire tracks.
A jeep is hard to beat off road!
I couldn’t agree more. Thanks for checking in
Awesome video! Loved the rig. Is that extreme recon package with 35s?
Thanks so much! I actually added the Extreme Recon fender flare extensions, but my tires are 37”. I did an install video of the flares, check back about a year ago in my list.
Thanks!
Can you share the link to the wheels and rims?
The wheels I bought used, but you can order these tires. point-s.ca/en/tires/goodyear/wrangler-duratrac/312020027
Say it isn't so... the last trip:( Nooooo!
I won’t say it’s so, the trails are closed for the season, but not the logging roads. There will be more trips and camping videos to come 😊
Ha!!! Diggin the Westies 🐕🐶...awesome campsite Johnny....magical moments here Christmas card worthy🎄🥳
Thanks so much Lisa, I just love the snow
Oh no instant porridge. That crap taste's terrible John. Yuck. Believe it or not we use that stuff to fish for carp. LOL... We mix instant porridge packages, corn meal and jolly green giant corn niblets together then add a little water and that's the bait we use to catch 40 pound carp..... I love the bush in the wintertime. You can see and hear everything....
Haha, I call it porridge too. My wife laughs and says it’s oatmeal, not porridge, but it’ll always be that to me
Very relaxing video. Do you have any photos or a short video of how you arrange your equipment inside your Alu-Cab? I will soon have one too, and for the first year, I am wondering how I will set it up before installing fixed cabinets. What temperature would it be inside with your diesel heater?
Actually my next video will show in good detail the inside of my Ali-Cab. I can hook you up with the guy who built my interior too, he does amazing custom work!
@@JendellOverland Nice , I will wait to see that :-)
Johnny, that was the most relaxing camp night ever and a surprise First Snow in the morning. Love the trip and the video. Hope to see many more. Love the Westies Dogs, LOL
Thanks buddy. I always enjoy our trips out together. Another one soon?
@ Sure that will be great, I’m currently redesigning my truck cabin interior space again but will finish up soon for another trip.
Another great video. How do you like that diesel heater i was looking at that brand.
@@chrissanderson3648 thanks, I love these diesel heaters. Last week I showed a pro model, this week was the standard model. Both very good heaters. I will be releasing a video on both of them very soon.
Seems like a great trail. Where is this?
@@ivanthemechanic thanks, it’s northern Ontario

Is this still your original heating system? And a question from your novice friend☺️ aaaa why did ya drive up on the blocks? Ok watching
@@L.E.55472 good eye on you, this is a new heating system. I will be doing a video on this heating system in the near future. The reason why I drive on blocks, is because the Jeep is not level, it was tilting to the right, so I needed to raise up the passenger side to level out the vehicle

I could stand on that rock at 4:46 and catch fish all day and all night John.... Video's of Canadian Shield Rock, lol, who'd a thunk. Geez I guess it does look pretty but I'm so used to it I guess I take it for granted. Boy that's a lot of species of fish there that your buddy mentioned Cap. I'd target the Walleye and the Bass. I got to tell you John the best experience up north is a shore lunch with fresh fish you caught. Taters and baked beans is all you need. When Samuel D. Champlain came to Ontario in the early 1600s he wrote in his journal which I have read that the tastiest fish he ever ate was the Walleye. He spent a whole paragraph on it as a matter of fact. Fresh fish taste different than store bought fish. Champlain dined with the royalty of Europe before he became an explorer and said that nothing on those tables could compare to the taste of this New World delicacy... Your missing the boat kid not taking advantage of it... I'll even lend you the fishing gear. Shit, never mind, I got lots I'll give you some. Or would you prefer dynamite caps?..... LOL
@@BobbyGass5 it is easy to take for granted, that is why I like to spend a few moments each morning just taking in the views. That’s human nature, my friend. Maybe one day, I will go out and get a fishing license. But honestly, we have so much going on on these events, but I don’t know if I would have time to sit for hours waiting for a bite
Was a great relaxing time in a beautiful epic location! Rain or shine warm or cold we always make the best of our outings in nature. It won’t be long we’ll be back out there, Johnny.
@@Expeditionmarc you got that right buddy, and this was no exception to that rule. Making the best of every trip that we go on, it’s what it’s all about. I can’t wait for our next adventure.
Pretty cool version of Shock Me!
You are the only person who knew what it was
Did you report any of the people with illegal sites???? I know it sucks to do so, but....kinda needs to be done so we can all use it
