I have aquestion for you. First this video, speed painting is deep amazing, I love it. The question: How much big is your screen monitor where you draw? As I guess you're using a desktop tablet, so I would like to know the inchs of your monitor. ^_^ I've beeing reading about as much big is the monitor, bigger should be the desktop tablet, as much is the difference the precission of painting is lower than when both devices have similar size. I say this because I'm drawing nowadays with the technique of painting in a limited screen area. This means I need the mouse to get all screen, because tablet pen only move in area canvas size that is Real world area active and visually on monitor same cm = it's movement 1:1 A line drawn of 2 cm is represented on screen as 2cm. I'm in that point where I ask if I should try to learn full screen with less sensibility or if I'm fine as I'm doing this special process 1:1 because literally It feels for me pretty much comfortable and real, natural. I'm using a Wacom intuos & touch M with a basic IPS 23'5 inch monitor wich make hard to draw natural vs 1:1. It's a manual step I did it's isn't perfect but luckily the margin of error is below 1 cm in whole are active to draw. And as wacom has a option to mage proportions right, I even get more are on my tablet because I fit the exact form of the area active on my tablet with the area on my screen. ^^
