Most modern cars today have rear cross traffic alert. Tesla vehicles do not have this feature. What do they have instead and is it better than Ultrasonic sensors?

1. The Volt isn't aimed at the would-be hybrid buyer who just wants a plug for a few extra MPG. It's aimed at the would-be electric car buyer who doesn't want to be restricted by the limited availability of public charging infrastructure. For most drivers, 53 miles of EV range is enough that all normal daily driving will take place on electricity. And when it's time for a road trip, there's no need to plan ahead to find charging stations and allow extra charging time---just put gas in the car and go, just like a normal gas vehicle. It's the best of both worlds. 2. The Volt looks like a heck of a lot nicer and probably a cheaper life-time expense than the Honda. 3. I just checked out a Volt. The Volt's biggest detractor for the area where I live would be the average height of an American male of Dutch ancestry is 6'2". The some of the girls are that tall. I'm only 6-2". Getting in requires some ducking and twisting. Once inside I'm fine with a small amount of head room. I didn't attempt the back seat. 4. I tried the Ford Fusion hybrid. Surprisingly, they are no better. 5. I also tried the C-Max which is far better, and has a much larger door opening. The seat is also higher so your legs are slanted down when you get up rather than parallel or up, which also makes it easier. It doesn't look any taller than the Fusion, but something is much different. 6. I haven't seen a Honda Clarity. 7. I'm not sure I can trust the others to be as well-engineered and inexpensive to own as the Volt, so I may be back to just getting a gas SUV. LOL!

Tesla are starting to loose market share and it’s simple when auto markers learn to do over the air updates they will catch up with Tesla software and Tesla will not be able to get the same build quality end of. It’s all about timing and the other car companies are catching fast and then Tesla will be the normal over priced car of the past. You can’t have 10 years of software beat over 100 years of car building time will tell and we will see in the long run way the customer puts their money. Tesla have done great things and will push the main players to their limits but experience will beat high tech as what is high tech today is old hat tomorrow but quality will always out perform in the long run.

The Hondas screen is horrible and cheap looking in my opinion. Same as the gauges. Oh yea and a bigger battery and less range makes sense..

I have Jaguar ipace 2022. It's a piece of garbage. I named it death trap. In 6 months I escaped death 4 times. Jaguar is not concerned about it. Service is zero level. If we have cars and dealer like jaguar. Trust me jaguar will not be in business in near future. Beware this car stops abruptly in the middle of nowhere 🤔. Jaguar says they're is no problem. Seriously.

Jaguar ipace is death trap. Do not fall into trap by just looking at it. It has been six months I bought 8-10 weeks it has been in the dealership. 3 times nearly escaped death (stops in the middle of the no where). Won't move in car wash. Problems you name it this car has it.

One thing that is confusing to me is whether these safety features will only work while in auto pilot or will they just work automatically if on in the settings. It’s even more confusing cause a lot of the tests in this video were on auto pilot. Any insight on that?

The Volt is 500lbs lighter than the Clarity not 250. Why do designers seem to insist on making ECO/EV cars so ugly Chevy has upgraded their look from the old EV1 to look grown up but that Honda is still just ugly. Are they trying to turn people away from green vehicles so they can keep working with ICE/Big Oil? It's working!

Something that volt owners may or may not know. The Range Extender on the back side of the steering where noramlly a paddle shifter would be, When pressed will not only slow the car down quickly but to anyone on your rear bumper will actually see you BRAKE LIGHTS. When the car is in “ D “ or “ L “ for one pedal driving, not only are your white LED light ( Day time driving ) are lite but also your tail lamps light to make sure you are seen - coming and going. The Interior of the Premier has a thin blue light on the interior doors. At night I have a bright light in the Cubby Hole where the USB plugs are located. All this and theater lighting at night. The Chevy Volt is packed with treasures in Both Drivers Confinance packages . Lane Keep Assist , Adaptive Cruise, Blind spot monitoring plus when backing up it has rear warning if a car or pedestrian approachs . The position of the two forward seats have an excellent view forward , side and back. The one thing I wish the VOLT had would be ceiling hand grips to assist the two front passengers in getting in or out of the vehicle. That’s the only negative I have found owning it 1 month .

now when i unlock my car, the spoiler doesn't even come up and this happens after the 2021.44.6 update. Anyone has any idea ?

Leaky windshield look at the lot rot 2018-2019 Discos those have great windshield that would flood the car in the rain. Not to mention they mount the IMC and audio amp in the floor so when you go of road they are the first to soak up all the puddles lmao

Thanks for the video. One thing that I wish tesla would have is the sort of cross traffic mitigation. May be in front or back. A lady driving her accidentally backed into me. That could have been avoided if the system was in place. I believe subaru and nissan has these features.

Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs and amazing technology. Gasoline and diesel are OLD polluting technology. So last century. Electric cars, electric trucks, electric buses, electric trash haulers, electric snow blowers, electric lawn mowers, electric snow mobiles, electric water craft, electric garden tools, electric mechanic tools, electric motor cycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric farm tractors, electric construction equipment, electric delivery vehicles, ...... everything is going electric. No worries about starting after sitting for a few months. Gas always needs repairs.

nvm..I see now! you can have the EAP and still have smart summon...that isn't clear on the Tesla website. So, basically the only difference in EAP and FSD is that FSD has Stop Sign and Traffic Control and WILL have Autosteer on City Streets? Is that right?

this is well done..but I am a bit confused as I remember watching some videos awhile back that showed teslas having summon without FSD....but now it is only available with FSD? Tesla took that away from cars without FSD or something? sorry for the crazy question, new to Tesla here :)
