Titanium valves and con-rods, lots of engine tweaks. It's a homologation bike. Awesome. I bought the R1M for the fracture-split rods, but in the end I couldn't keep it cool. On the lookout for a 10RR in Tahoe.

Hey just curious, what rear turn signal did you put on? I found one that looks exactly like what you installed on Amazon. Is that where you got it from? Also where did you get your rear seat cowl? I am trying to find one for my rs660 as well

if you don't have great mechanical ability i'm talking if anything you've ever worked on has led to someone else fixing your work or at least coaching you on how to better more safely do the job in question i'm gonna go ahead and ask you with great humility to please insist the dealership make the fuel lines on your new r1 right from day one im stubborn and at one time thought my experience was plenty good enough to tackle something so simple... one of my favorite bikes is mostly puddled aluminum and i don't ride as well and walk like shit and in pain all the time now 15up R1s are absolutely hyper level amazing just make sure you aim for a fire station if youre unexplainably and unexpectedly wet for the love of god don't take your foot off the brake just be ready to get naked the second you can lol

Doesnt the Ape have heating issues ? Also heard about a gas-fume buildup issue. There are RUclipsrs who own these and dont recommend people buy them.

Personally, the cbr is much more comfortable. R1 is faster because of the way it rides.

Dude just casually hates on a new CBR1000 for no reason. This bike is built for reliability, yes the check engine light is a little sus but it's supposed to last the test of time, that S1K that you just ordered won't have a long life. They're full of issues and dead engines. reddit is filled with it, so is youtube, and sometimes BMW declines the warranty for whatever bs reason. But hey if you got the money to just order bikes constantly you probably don't care about long term reliability. Still though, this is a great bike for the price, if you wanted to go full on performance there's the fireblade.
