In a way i can relate to shoya..i didnt like what he did but i can tey to understand what he was like back then he must have been immature but honestly with his things i knew he would be due to him having to be independent..nobody can be that..solo..so of course he did those things because well he was immature he definitely needed to learn..when i was watching this i honestly did think well dam they said all the thoughts he was probably fearing they would say like all those thoughts came true one by one as he started to look down more..i feel like he would have stayed quiet when the other cried or the very least would have said a quiet or said i am sorry..i have a feeling his guilt and shame would have already convinced him that he should just leave it alone..and shouldn't try to comfort ..unless that made things worse..he does have a ton of anxiety which is why i feel like this something he would have done..in all i don't hate shoya he just is someone like many who still need to grow and improve in a lot of ways..i think they go more into his character in the Manga and others in silent voice maybe i think so..he still i think deserves compassion like anyone else..he has changed and has shown that he has done his living amends and my hope is that many others can hopefully see that even if they find it hard for that to be..i mean its not like trying to excuse the behavior you know just providing understanding..i know why he kept on with it..honestly i seen a lot of kids in the years i have been alive parts of them i see in him some where kind of like shoya or his friends..wether bad or good..i got to know some of them not like be friend all of them but i got know bits and pieces into their life..i guess what i am trying to say here is people are complex and fragile but thats also a great things about humans i think..so shoya is definitely very human in the way he was written I think
