As mentioned in the video the trigger that decides whether you can drop the cargo or not is not working properly because this mission was created for the old caucasus map that had different terain data. If you wan't to complete the mission and this trigger to work you need to go to the mission editor , find the trigger and increase the AGL altitude requirement. By default it's too low forcing you to land on trees. Increase it to something like 1 or 2 thousand feet and it should work just fine.

I know there is a method to calculate position of the enemy ship using only hydrophone without even seeing the ship. I did that couple of years ago but fprget how to do it. Anyne could help?

Hello there! I have some questions to ask. I'm currently running the game on the LSH3 super mod, but I want to switch to a different mod. How do I make my SH3 back into its' unmodded original files?

It would be great if you could show us all how you installed this. There are no instructions included in the downloads. Trying to find instructions is frustrating to say the least.

Is it better to learn the game on Vanilla UI before installing one of these mods?

My friend, how do I make the MagUI mod to work on 1920x1080 resolution? I change the d3d9 files but ingame the ui shrinks to its 1366x768 while the 3D game is at 1920x1080

Perfect UI for my scenario. Playing on a 65" TV sitting 12' away from the screen. Using the 1366x768 allows me to easily read all text which I wasn't able to do before using ARB at 1080. Great UI. Thanks for the video!

For this video I returned to the 1080p resolution. I would appreciate it if you compared it to Part 2 and let me know which one you prefer. Although as already stated due to the bad internet I have , I am inclined to upload in 1080p instead of 4k.

For this video I upscaled the original 1080p resolution to 4k because supposedly that tells youtube to use less compression. The difference between this and the first episode is stark. However because of my shit internet it took 5 hours to upload. I think I am gonna keep uploading the campaigns in 4k but for different videos I'll go back to 1080. I'll think about it.

For those of you who don't know what you are seeing , the replay-track system in DCS is buggy as hell and this is one such bug or corruption or whatever you wanna call it really. The end result is that after a certain amount of time has passed the replay does not reflect what happened in the mission. On a personal note it's been pissing me off because it's got an impact on my most cinematic elements in my campaign videos. For example this clip is from the 3rd mission and both for the 3rd and 2nd mission I was unable to recover replay footage for the return trip to the FARP. This means that at least for mission 2 and 3 I won't have any cinematic external views for aproach/landing. Whether that's gonna improve or not for the next ones , i honestly don't know.

Mission 1 in this DCS UH-1 Campaign is a simple transfer flight from Vaziani to Kutaisi. Originally I had an entire powerpoint brief available but I decided to not include it in the video. I think in the next ones I will. The entire purpose of this campaign is to coach my friend Paco in the ways of the helicopter and turn him into a half decent Huey pilot.
