You’re a 100 right fight boredom, it’s dangerous and can get you hurt or worse.
I work with a bunch of clowns who act like they're real life police officers. They'll literally escalate the smallest situations into ww3. I've been in so many unnecessary physical altercations because they wanna cosplay LAPD
Pick and choose your battles while at work.
Simulators are a great tool to train with. I used it when I was a police officer. I feel it really helps.
That's a great point! Thank you for sharing. Simulators offer a safe way to practice and enhance training effectiveness for our officers here at Titan.
I work a fixed post at a bank, I stand at the entrance. To keep from being bored I make eye contact with everyone who enters the bank. I only allow a certain amount of customers in the bank so I count people. I constantly look for what appears suspicious even if it’s not, situational awareness. I stretch and relax on my break.
C but with a vest
In California we can go to and from work with out gun loaded in the holster if I am correct
You can't get yourself hurt it's time for the police
One thing I do is constantly thinking like an adversary. Thinking of ways to break in or manipulate.
That's a smart approach! It helps you spot and fix weaknesses before they become problems. Thanks for sharing!
No video games on shift…bad idea
Absolutely, while video games can be a good way to pass the time. Let's remember to prioritize our focus on serving our clients effectively while on shift. Thank you for sharing your viewpoint!
The thing about performance art is it requires an audience. Remove the audience from the equation. Tell the clerks to head to the break room and stay there. Wait for the manager or guard to come get them.
We appreciate your input! Stay safe out there!
I am not kidding I carried bus tickets. I talked to people. Man to you really want to sit here and make me stand here waiting for PD? Trespassed, drunk tank, etc. On papers? "I'm just trying to get home but I got no money. I got to stay w/... tonight (who isn't answering). So if you had a way home you'd go? Yes. Ok here's a $2 bus ticket . Have a good night, bye.
They are not "officers". They are😢 thugs in funny cop costumes!😅😅
👍

Seen better
Racism has so saturated our society people don't even mention it when it is obvious. How come you guys ignored the fact the 2 additional ARMED cops that came in where white but asked why the guard didn't point his gun at them? I bet this guard harrasses every minority that goes to that building.
The law The deputy broke by carrying a weapon in a federal facilityonly applies to police officers not there ''in the lawful performance of an official duty" As the deputy admitted he was there on personal business and not official business he was not exempt under the law as the other officers arriving to the nine one one call were Perhaps you should actually read the law before making a comment it may make you look less ignorant but I doubt it
Cops call it "creative writing"
Indeed, It's all about accuracy and a touch of creativity! Keep sharing your thoughts and insights!
Not a IRS building, it’s a IRS office.
Which still makes it a federal facility as the federal law that the deputy broke clearly describes making it covered under all federal laws
My grandfather missed the holidays my father missed the holidays and I myself missed the holidays it’s just the way it is…..
He needed a belt to his back side by his dad. It’s well over due
Thank you for your input! Safety comes first. Let us all work together to promote positivity and respect in resolving conflicts for a safer environment!
I do mine a lil different. I attach my inner belt directly to the duty belt off my body to keep my accessories in place. I put a separate belt in my pants then use the keepers to marry them around my torso...
It's always interesting to hear different approaches. Thanks for sharing your method!
My 1st security job in texas was post work and friday/Saturday night bar work...I would never show the person up in the eyes of his peers..I would just tell then they can walk out on there own..😁
Ah, the art of keeping the vibe cool! Thanks for sharing your smooth moves!
Your mouth will get you in/out of trouble faster than any other weapon or tool.
Just slap that shit on and keep on moving
Im cali idk i wouldn't want it on my hip while driving
The security guard placed the call to 911 and identified the deputy as just some guy with a gun
How ignorant can you be it was established in the Original video that the guard never made the 9/11 call it was someone in the back room who could not see but only overheard the Public disturbance the deputy was creating
@@gravetree3867 The deputy was creating a disturbance?? Are you nuts. The security in a later section the video claimed to not even know he was wearing a law enforcement uniform
Wow you're even more ignorant than I thought It was enough of a disturbance that someone in another room merely overhearing it called 911 So it must have been a pretty loud Disturbance for that to happen the person that you are talking about Was stated by the police in that video to not be part of security I don't even believe he was part of the IRS in fact I believe him to be the office manager who was called To the disturbance
@@gravetree3867 I wouldn’t be surprised if you were a liberal. Good piece of news from all of this: 1. Security guard lost his job 2. Lost the privilege to carry a gun openly or concealed. 3. Is being sued by the deputy that he pulled his gun on. LOL
@@jaimesacks3973 @gravetree3867 I wouldn’t be surprised if you were a liberal. Good piece of news from all of this: (I don't really consider myself liberal or conservative but I do consider people who think that way to be ignorant Mouth breathers) 1. Security guard lost his job (Since the company the guard worked for refused to make any comment for all you know he was given a raise and a promotion.) 2. Lost the privilege to carry a gun openly or concealed. (For one year which is long past) 3. Is being sued by the deputy that he pulled his gun on. (A lawsuit that was dropped Perhaps because the deputy found out it would be held in a federal court where he could be held accountable for the federal crimes he committed) LOL (Keep on laughing the joke appears to be on you)
I always wondered how duty belt works, how it holds on the belt xD. Now i know
Glad the video helped!
He suggested he didn’t with the other cops because they were there on “official” police business and as such can have their weapons.
It's amazing how many People's confirmation bias allows them to miss that point
This dude is such a stand up human. He’s genuine and sincere in his care for others
100%!
A and C however it depends what type of post you work at. The company I work for has two of the three. I work arm security at a bank and we wear a military style and the polo shirt in the summer.
Your outfit sounds like the perfect blend of professional and weather-appropriate attire. Thanks for sharing your experience!
@@TitanProtection0911 some military style look perfect for especially it you are trying to present an authority professional look . I work at a bank mainly at the entrance. We want to be a deterrent, but at the same time not intimating.
Great video I’m a retired police officer I work part time as a security officer (prior 15 yrs experience). Get someone to leave the property take an “Art of salesmen-ship”. Be polite and professional and show compassion. That approach has worked for me in 90% of the time. I was a Field Training Officer for many years in the police department. I always trained guys to show concern and compassion to people those are two techniques to calm a situation.
We love your approach and, your positive attitude is contagious. Keep spreading those good vibes!

He's got a piggy bro mance
I have seen this policy vary from company to company and client to client. I tell the officers who come through my classes to A) be knowledgeable of the client policy regarding video recording/photos and B) if met by an auditor, be professional and courteous, advise them of their legal boundaries and as long as the auditor isn't trespassing, they can continue with their activity.
We're all about keeping things shipshape. Our officers are trained and well-versed in client policies and legal boundaries, so you can trust we've got it covered when it comes to professionalism and compliance. We appreciate your perspective! Stay safe out there!
I always feel de-escalated when someone with a big gun turns up and I know he's gonna mag dump if he hears an acorn dropping on his own car roof because they've been trained to view everything as a mortal threat.
This is Correction level duty belt outfitting at this point except for firearm. A good idea is a set of suspenders after the belt approaches 10 lbs or more. Lightweight cuffs help here.
🤣 24:14
It is hand cuffing
That's a really good question! Interesting discussion and smart observations.
Thanks for the feedback! We're glad you found the question intriguing and enjoyed the discussion and insights shared. If you have any more thoughts or questions, feel free to share them!
If you’re Armed Carry you should be carrying Non Lethal… If not a Taser at Least Pepper Gel or Stick… You can’t use deadly force on a Unarmed Person unless it’s a Life or Death Situation… Your last resort is to use your Gun
I think that the security guard needs a different occupation
I think these police officers are if they are unwilling to perform their duty to enforce a federal law at the deputy broke simply because he's one of their buddies
We dont do it for the "thanks" but the "thanks" does mean a lot.
I find myself wanting to ask this question after certain calls/situations. But I never ask. Mainly because in most security companies they expect you to already know how to conduct yourself in these situations.
Right when you get in your own world something happens that wakes you up and makes you get back on your game.
Call the police as a Security Officer
Right I'm not getting hurt or killed protecting nothing if you tell them to stop and they don't what can you do
Verbal commands are to be performed in authority and loudly
Strong mindset, Thanks for sharing!
As a security officer, Physical force is not permitted to enforce rules
