RE-ATTACHING A FRICTION HITCH ON A TROPHYLINE AMSTEEL BRIDGE
If this is as good a product as the sticks it’ll be amazing
It is. and more! 😍
Dude he almost busted you
Nice
That’s WILD how you guys just blow up a public spot like that. I get it it’s public but come on now, have a little more respect for the local city slickers.
Nice buckdeer and shot! I know its the coolest thing ever, but looks mighty hard to hunt/shoot out a saddle. Since ill never be a pro, ill stick to my climber and hangons. That way, ill never be set up on wrong side of tree and can choot all directions. Not to mention comfort 😴lol
That’s an awesome shirt where is that from??
one of our partners @shedseason shedseason.com/
Would love to see a video of how you carry them in and get into the stand.
Two minutes into this video and I’m already stoked!! Let’s go!!
I know it’s not y’all’s deal, but definitely needs hyperlite lock on
Glad to see a saddle platform that weighs significantly less and costs less than a lone wolf! 👍 keep up the great work! It’s almost like…🎤 drop lol
Lancasters RUclips video weighed it at 2.9lbs but your site says 2.1lbs. Can we get clarification please? Thank you.
Its 2.1 all day, the scale is wrong/torqued as he weighs the platform. Sticks and platform together is 6.5 lbs not 7lbs.
@ I’m already running a light setup, but if I didn’t have what I have now I’d definitely be buying. Thanks for the clarification, never hurts to double check.
I have the sticks, you can send me a platform to match 😉 😂
I want to get any deer with my recurve! My year is almost up here in Kansas. I took a fantastic buck with my crossbow from my XOP saddle this year. The saddle has opened up my hunting tremendously on public land and private both. To hear you have taken that many deer with your recurve is awesome. I just learned this year about bare shaft tuning and have really been working on tuning my recurve. If I don't get a couple of hunts in before the end of year I will have to Waite till next year.
New York in the house awesome story guys a fellow New Yorker myself as we say that’s a slammer congrats
Brandon actually is the reason I went with a trophy line saddle after my climber was stolen on private land! Still fine tuning it, but I love it
Great Job Congratulation!
GREAT ENDING YOU GOING TO HOLLYWOOD!!
Great story!! I bowhunt Long Island which is a different world compared to upstate…. Upstate is no joke, big woods. The way that buck was behaving no way he would have it far into rifle. That is a tank for that area. You made it happen!
Many 🎊 congratulations Brandon!! Well done 🔥 🏹
He was ready to go. Nice buck.
Just ordered mine
You edited out the “simple drop down”. Did retrieving the crossbow turn out to be a challenge? Was it noisy or a lot of excess movement?
I just sat in my nimbus over weekend feels weird hanging off the stand but even after my 2nd time out felt better seems like wont take long to start feel comfortable with it
Hi 👋 Is this saddle going to hold me? I'm 6'2", and weigh 280 pounds. I've won a lot of pie eating contest. Please don't judge me.
This was a great podcast. Listened to it earlier this week.
What you all mentioned about permission/suburban properties and having a go bag is spot on. Having a speed ball of bag, sticks, saddle, platform in the back seat, ready to go in and get out without a trace could be the make or break for gaining and keeping permission.
I’ve been debating on these sticks for awhile. That being said any idea when they will be back in stock?
Love this. How do I get my hands on a set to try them out??
@@andrewstoltzfus2030 the sticks from us and stick stack stow system from Genisis’s 3d website !
And they don’t klink around like they did on me last weekend taking them apart at 5 am under head lamp cause the amsteel has jammed them to tight together
@@matto4539 hey Matt watch the hyperlite how to video to watch how to store the Amsteel so they aren’t effecting the stacking
I just bought my first saddle the nimbus super excited about it iam super lazy hunter i hunt on private ground so i keep stands there but i know i need to move but like nah they will walk by eventually so i got your saddle with intention of being able to prep couple tree and now will be able to move without all the sweat and cussing and love hearing about your gear and stories you guys sound just those cool guys best of luck with your business
I got these and they are awesome!
I need to get this system
Honestly, it’s overrated. It’s just the cool thing to do just like when iPhones came out everybody had to have iPhones. I honestly think it’s stupid and situations it’s good but I had not packing that heavy shit back into the woods and I don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on the light stuff.
One sticking is the way to go. There’s nothing cool or quiet about carrying 4 interlocking metal sticks into the woods. I did that twice before I figured out a new method. 1 tethrd one stick, 60ft of rope with two ascender knots and a foot loop. Super light super quiet.
That is definitely one way to go if its for you! We love hearing what people like to run!
@ do you sell these in singles
Keep checking your site everyday to see when that hyperlite platform will drop. Any idea when it might? I've given up for 2024.
XOP sticks with an 18 inch one step strap aider on the bottom two. Only run three sticks and a platform. USA pro attachment. All works great. Eliminated the fixed linemans rope and only run the tether line with a kongduck for adjusting. I run a beaner on the loop to eliminate the feeding through the fixed eye. This is mostly developed from climing down and getting out. Switching ropes and packing up all the extra in the dark was too much! My $0.02
The attachment method was what turned me away from these sticks. I hate pruisk type knots cause once u set ur stick it's a pain in the ass to loosen the rope. Also hard to get it tight. With the price of these sticks u would think u could surly come up with a different way more something like lattitude uses
Hey Mike, You can simply slide the knot off the attachment method and rope mod method on the sticks with what came with the sticks, 2 options in one with several attachment methods, that is why we designed the sticks with the Quick Hitch Tabs - essentially a boat cleat design for easy and fast attachment.
The SSS system for the Hyperlites.. wow.. need this setup 🔥
we agree!
Have you tried tying it like a boat cleat?
Man where did you get this guy?? He has a future as a hand model 😂
When is the platform coming out?
My husband said, that it's not safe hunting with a crossbow in a tree saddle. I think 🤔 he does want me to hunt in a tree saddle because of my age. What do you think?
I think age is a limit we put on ourselves. Give it a go!
Definitely needs some grip texture on platform look very smooth, I’d have to take a cut wheel and cut some grooves so there is traction
The platow pack is hands down the best pack ever made.
BASED
What is that wire material you use to attach your platform?
Would you have the same strategy for private land that has little hunting pressure?
Can u really find where they bed in the summer ?
Practice definitely needed
Got the Platow pack to carry everything and what a game changer !! Strap my sticks to the bottom and put my platform on the top. Lightweight is the name out here in Hawaii. I constantly climb to 1500 ft in 80 degree weather running and gunning for wild boar. The open design and lightweight help keep me from overheating
This video might have just made me a saddle hunter
