I am 25 and am on day 12 of chicken pox. The first week was the worst with a fever that lasted 5 days. As I also had a cough and intense pain whenever I swallowed, doctors finally put me on Acyclovir tablets on day 6. This medicine is most effective when taken up to 48 hours after chicken pox begins so I am not sure if it’s done anything! I am much better now and most of the scabs have dried up but some of the big pus filled blisters are taking forever!!

I'm 27 I had recently completed my derma posting 1week ago and I feel like i got infected from some patient and I am suffering from it now😔😔 it's the worst scenario that you can go through....literally I have got blisters all over my face, chest, back and scalp....and its so..... itchy 😭😭😭😭...... I'm hoping to get better..!! Spreads through direct contact/air droplets from infected person...Be careful guys its highly contagious

Second day of having it. For me, im developing two cysts near my ears, which’s like idk how to say. Ugh

1989-born here. I was vaccinated for chickenpox, and never had it as a kid. But here I am now, almost 35yo, on my 6th day of having chickenpox 😂 It’s crazy how similar our symptoms are btw! The other day I also got knocked out and slept for 12 hours. I’m hoping to recover soon.

It's my 2nd day of having chickenpox at the age of 25😢. There are numerous vesicles on my face and abdomen. I feel like crying. I'm away from home😢😢😢

I experience it just now, ill be turning 39 years tomorrow, my first 2 days is fever and feeling tired on the 3rd day the pox is starting to appeared on my head and all of my faces, current I am still on medications, btw the 3rd day was feels hell itchy and I want to skin my face off

I got them in high-school. They had grown internally too. Almost died. Good times.

I just finished going through adult chicken pox at age 41. I never had it as a child though I was vaccinated granted that was over 30 years ago. That said, I got over the entire episode in 7 days total and most of the pox scabs have fallen off by day 10 (I had hundreds of them); given how quick I recovered (and without the help of any antivirals) I feel like the vaccine may have had played some part in the swift recovery. For scar cream I highly recommend mederma. I used it in the past to help heal a scar from a broken nose and it worked remarkably well. It’s already having positive results on my facial pox scars after one week. For new scars they recommend using it once a day (i.e. before bed) for 8 weeks and for old scars it’s that routine for 3-6 months.

I am 30, today is the 11th day since the blisters appeared,now all of them have a scab over, I found that calamine lotion is the best to help with itchiness. I can’t tell if I will have any scars left yet because they’re all covered with the lotion. I have been searching that manuka honey and aloe vera gel can help. When all the scabs have fallen I will be applying those

I am having it right now at the age of 27 and the worst part is not the pox but the amount of high fever, back pain, headache, nausea and vomitting and sleepless nights, it’s hell on earth

Hi, the doctor told me not Ibuprofen only paracetamol because can make the symptoms worse. And about the Acyclovir, I just came from the doctor and he didn't prescribe me it, because he said it will not do anything now, I am in the 3rd day. I am itching everywhere and it's impossible to sleep. When I think they start to dry they start again. What about make up its alloud to put for some hours to go out??

i got chicken pox first week of jan this year, and i'm 16 ( now 17) and trust me mine was soo worser than urs, the doctor didn't give me a medicine nd stuff cus "it was too late" he said, so it spreaded quickly all over my upper body, and now its almost 2 months nd i still have the dark spots on my face but it lightens a little cuz i was using a serum, but on my body the marks is still there 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
