I am reading Dr. Kempshall book and it just blows me away how much it mirrors the US today.
Currently playing Starship Troopers: Extermination watching this🤙

William Shatner began working post Trek 2 on TV Series "T.J. HOOKER" onward's from Trek 3 and 4 during 1982 to 1986 maybe 4 seasons then unsure ? But by Trek 5 when he starred and directed in late 1988 figure his series had cancelled.
My two favorite people! I love this episode, and spot and you're welcome Tim for me reeling ya into Star Trek 😂 and loving Beverly Crusher! 😉
What’s special about Neel wanting the rat is that he was terrified of the rat at first. That’s a cute piece of character growth.
@@chrisdtgordon5331 very true! Good note!
I mean he manipulates jinx to build his weapons , uses ppl as test subjects, has no issue threatening children or using them as leverage, uses child labour, thrives off the poverty and uses shimmer to control them , he’s gross and evil he’s not tragic he lost that when he cause so much harm and it makes him less as he uses what vander did as a way to hide behind his actions
But at the same time he's doing it si his home can gain independence from its horrid oppressors. He was willing to stop once that was achieved, as per hisbc9nversation with Jayce, but it was over once Jinx was mentioned as something he'd have to give up. The love of a parent, something he finally understood as he talked to Vander's statue. He tried things Vander's way and it failed, killing at least one of their friends. The only other option he had was to make Piltover fear them as much as Zaun once feared Piltover. And it probably would've worked if it weren't for HexTech. It wasn’t until they also got HexTech and Jayce saw for himselfbthat Zaunites (outside of Viktor) were people did independence become an option. Silco's ways got them closer than Vander ever would've. And I love Vander, but he even admitted to giving up on their dream. Silco never did until Jinx mattered more. I'm not a parent, but I do have loved ones I'd be willing to give up my dream for, so I heavily sympathize with him.
Do you know silco backstory and why he’s like this?
Thanks for the interview Tim! Enjoyed it!
@@drewstar412 thanks for watching. Dani is a treat to chat with!
I want to join the Lexa Doig group but I can't even talk to Lexa Doig. On Facebook or anywhere
Didn’t know there was a Lexa group.
Silco is a villain. He is a crimelord that is in charge of a large drug empire. Being one of the main characters does not make him less villainous.
he is a revolutionist who wishes to free Zaun as well
wonderful answer really ^^
YAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY
I don't remember the cartoon "Flash Gordon". Was it any good? It came out in 1996, and I had cable. Just don't remember it.
@@drewstar412 it’s pretty decent, IMO. Although I will always be a bigger fan of the motion picture with Sam Jones.
Lexa Doig is in the category of beauty, that is difficult to be in. She reminds me of a character in the old TV show "Have Gun Will Travel" 1959 episode "Lady on the Stagecoach". Where an Apache Princess is a stagecoach passenger, which is carrying gold. The stagecoach is held up, and the leader of the bandits is in awe of the Apache Princess. The acting of it, to me, is unique, special. It's like he is blushing but is a tough outlaw that has a long history. He is humbled by her beauty. I know, it's hard to explain. Lexa Doig has that unique beauty, along her personality. After this interview, everything, just for a short moment, all feels in place and is right. Thank you so much for this quality interview.
@@drewstar412 so kind of you. Thank you. So glad you enjoyed it.
I like Lanter, but imo, Lucas just portrayed Anakin far closer to Hayden, and I preferred that. I wish he could have stayed as Anakin in the 3D series because, I mean, literally everyone else got to continue their roles. Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Dooku, and others all transferred over. For the main characters, only Anakin and Padme were recast for the 3D series. (Which ironically makes sense in a way, but is still unfortunate) Also, I wish his version of the 3D episodes were released, so we just have that content next to Lanter for a full comparison! Also, also, IMDB shows that Lucas apparently voiced Anakin in some of the 3D versions video games, but it's Lanter on the official release. So again, it would be cool if we got the sound files of Lucas' version for those games. Edit: In the 3D series, it would have been cool if they at least got Mat Lucas to voice Dark Anakin or some of the alternate force vision versions of Anakin that we saw in the 3D series. That would have been cool as h3ll!
some amazing stories actually are black and white hero and villains... have you ever heard of lord of the rings?
Lord of the rings trilogy is kinda overrated thh, don't attack me i watched those 3 2 times
some are MOST arent actually
Even LOTR has characters like Gollum and Boromir. And Frodo is corrupted in the end. Not all pure black and white.
Even Frodo becomes corrupted at the end. That's gray enough.
Omg I love this new interview my favorite interviewer
❤
Great breakdown! Subscribed!
Honestly the people in this thread are so stupid. If you don’t like it DONT WATCH THE SHOW! And don’t try and get it cancelled cause your a bunch of snowflakes
Bravo sir. Noble and clear.
Thanks Tim! I kept hearing other saying they were leaving X. However, was not really hearing why. Appreciate it.
wth he sounds the same!
cause he's the voice actor Lol
@jameshuston3474 no i mean usually voice actors would change up their voices a bit to make it sound more like the characters like seth mcfarlene. Im just shock real silco also have the same accent. I thought he did the accent solely for silco. So posh.
@@Ika-mz9wx aahh I see I see, I thought you might have ment that but then I was like naahh. Hella valid. I love his character so much as well, I think Silco is the best thing that came out of arcane honestly, the writing, the design, so on is just perfect
His voice is normally waayyy higher pitched. Which makes it even more impressive
I heard someone is campaigning for her I wonder who we will never know

I absolutely love Jed Brophy he a great actor I thought that his roles in Lord Of The Rings The Hobbit and Rings Of Powers were the best that’s why those films were my favourites
He’s a great fella. We loved having him on.
@ and also he also on Cameo which is great got to cameo many times cause since am a fan of his

The Avengers TV show!! YES! Thank You Yuri! What a GREAT TV show. To me, it was such a magical show. I luv the early eps, where the camera they used, is like the set is literally on a stage on, say, like Broadway. It had that raw and edgy feel to it. Always elegant, professional, sophisticated, and all the terms that go with it. It really stood on its own. I watched it in the 60s and whenever it's on reruns. My parents LUVED that tv show. Yes, the late Greats Diana Rigg as Emma Peel and Patrick Macnee as John Steed. They had great chemistry together.
Listening as I drive home out of work. They mentioned their character, along Indiana Jones, The Mummy, and Tomb Raider. What about the TV show "Relic Hunter"? That was a fun TV show. Rarely gets any luv. Always luved that TV show starring the lovely & talented Tia Carrere. I thought the show, could have really went places, IF they had done more deeper dives in the history. (However, I get it. it's during the time, when TV was "viewers watch the show to entertained, not for a history lesson" view.) Seasons 1 and 2 were really good. Season 3, if I recall, got the "magic" part. I wish they would have stayed with the Season 1 part.
Absolutely no No And no
People forget that's how it was back in the old days.
The new tech was strictly to be used for Detroit Lions Football. That is why there were hiccups. jk. One Pride, Tim...One Pride!
@@drewstar412 lesson learned! They can have it … lol
I think every game should be co op online gaiming is fun but land parties are funner I have seen people play Mario cart8 Splatoon and others on the sidewalk imagine a land party on the sidewalk
Now I have heard both sides of this acolyte. As others say in the comments here. The original fans was told this show is not for them don't watch. they didn't. including myself. The viewer ratings was so low that this was a lost cause to profit in anyway. It wouldn't never has been profitable when it cost like a blockbuster movie to make. There was never any cinema tickets.. No merchandise. Nothing to bring back those $230 million. Your petitions to save the acolyte will never do when the show already has spent the money for season 2. You had around 50.000 people signing this petition, 50.000 wanting a season 2 with subscriptions to Disney+. lets say half is basic and the other half is premium subs. 25 x 8 = 200 + ( 25 x 14 = 350) = 550x 1,000 = $550,000 per month. That's 6.6 million a year. A rule of thumb in business is your investment should be paid of in less of 3 years. That's short of $20 million income. The expenditures was more than 10 times this number. This calculation does not take into account that the subscriptions do not only go to this one show, so in reality the income would be lower than calculated. Point is. You need a whole lot more people to subscribe and support this show if there's gonna be a season 2. And calling any one who's criticizing a bigots' or racists doesn't bring in new potential costumers. I have heard that people are letting the show run on repeat to increase numbers. It's not how minutes watched works. It's more accounts that needs to watch this show. It does matter if little Johnny watches this show 200 times. He only pays once. It will never be 200 little Johnnys who pays 200 times and watched once. But the minutes watched are in theory the same. But Disney knows to differ. They know who's paying. BR.
I am also looking for season 4. Thanks for the interview. 🙂
@@zieluk glad you enjoyed! Thanks!
What a fun, solid and informative interview. So many works by Marc Zicree that would have luved to hear more about. So wish I had that time and live the life of a Marc Zicree. Living the dream. He, like J. Michael Straczynsk, they do Great works. Thanks, FSF Popcast!
So glad that you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
I would have gotten the "What species did the Borg find unworthy to assimilate" question. I thought 7 of 9 had told Neelix that the Talaxians were unworthy of being assimilated. I think it was the Alien race, the Vaadwaur, what called the Talaxians "foolish" or something to that degree. Maybe that is what I am thinking of. However, too bad that Borg didn't assimilate the Kazon. Spare the universe. Didn't care for their story line. lol
Marc Zicree wrote for the highly underrated TV series "M.A.N.T.I.S.". Created by Bryce Zabel.(who is a really a top person to interview too). That may have been the very first TV series, that NOT only had a Super hero as a Black man, but, also, handicapped. Another sci fi series that FOX network shows they hate sci fi. ugh. Why does anyone ever pitch a sci fi to them and why do they ever pick up sci fi's? ugh.
Marc Zicree wrote on the old Filmation series "BlackStar". LUV that series. Before there was He=Man & MOTU..there was BlackStar. Luved the evil guy, "The Overlord".( voiced by the Great Alan Oppenheimer). That series had so much potential. Then again, I said that with a lot of Filmation productions. The Secret of Isis, Jason of Star Command, Groovie Goolies, Star Trek: The Animated Series, just to name a few.
