How To Put On Ultra Wide Lens GoPro Hero 13
Просмотров 185Месяц назад
Quick tutorial on how to put on the Ultra-Wide Lens to your GoPro Hero13. GoPro has made it easy but simply twisting off your stock lens, getting your ultra-wide lens, lining up the blue marks and twisting on the Ultra-Wide Lens. I have been a huge fan of the Ultra-Wide lens as it allows me to have much great visibility when filming my dirt bike videos. My Equipment: Camera: amzn.to/3ZKedpR (am...

High Mountain Single Track Dirt Bike - KLX300R
Nice! I love that area. What year is your klx? I have a 2024 and love it.
It's a 2021. Congrats on the new bike! I love my KLX as well!
Do you like desert or high mountain riding?
I’m thinking about getting the “stock” hero 13. I already have a GoPro mount but idk if it’d fit it? Do all GoPros have the same style mount?
I believe so. I know my Hero 9 and my Hero 13 work on the same mounting system.
Nice, freedom
Amen!
I was out there early November with my xr 650l and promptly purchased a klx300 upon my return to Texas . I'm looking forward to going back , Arkansas is only a few hrs from me with tons of trails. I'll be there next week ... Got the factory tires replaced with dsport and tubliss setup.....
I have some family moving out to Arkansas so I'll have to take my bike out one of these days and hit the trails out there. I have loved my KLX300R! I still run tubes, but I am intrigued by mousse bibs. A lot of the people I ride with either run tubliss or mousse bibs. One down fall of the mousse is they can be expensive as you have to switch them out fairly often.
@darkcanyon8648 Arkansas has lots of national forest areas to off Rd. The more difficult is loose rock.. large rocks ...lol..quite challenging. Texas is pretty much privately owned unfortunately.
@@willoren3469 Got it. Yea that's one thing thats amazing about living our West. There is so much public land out here that you can ride for years and not hit every trail.
Big enough for a guy about 6’1 and a half and about 225lbs?
I'm 6' feet tall and weigh 185. I did add risers to my handle bars which helped. You would probably want to do the same thing. Obviously you can tune your suspension to match you liking. I will say after riding this bike for the last 3 years it doesn't have a raw power that a KTM 300 XC does, but it still does everything that I want it to do. What type of riding do you want to do?
@@darkcanyon8648 I don’t wanna race I just wanna ride around and have fun. Some trails and some mild track riding. Basic stuff lol
Yea this bike would be great for the basic stuff. It is really low geared so you won't have the crazy top end speed like a race bike. It's great for trail riding and mild track riding. I focus primarily on trail riding and it does great.
Thanks for the video dude🤘 I got a 13 on the way and have been using a hero 10 with no lense mod. After watching your video I will definitely be getting the wide lense mod for sure🤘 what resolution did you upload this video as?
Also I like using the Dango design mount. It clips as a chin mount, you can clip it to your chest protector and all kinds of places.
I uploaded at the standard HD so 1920x1080. I need to upload at 4K or higher and see how much of a difference it makes. I love the UltraWide lens, I won't ever film without it now. I just checked out the Dango Design mount, those look awesome! Once I get a new helmet I'll have to buy one. Right now I simply used some epoxy to glue an adapter to my helmet.
What green bars are you running want o start playing around with mine. Have fun it’s a great bike!!
I have the Renthal Ricky Charmichael High Bend bars. Had to get a fat bar after the stuck bars got bent after I tucked the front end. I have enjoyed riding this bike! It's my first one and been a great one to learn on.
Nice man
Thanks!
❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Foarte frumos traseul ❤
Yea I love this route!
КРАСАВЧИК 🐻 👍💪
It was an awesome experience!
tractor on two wheels
Amen, love this bikes ability to lug.
Shift up a gear or two, and it will go smoother, use the clutch to smoothen it out.
Amen, when I filmed this video I was a novice to single track (might still be, but I feel like I've progressed). Thanks for the tips! Thanks for watching
@@darkcanyon8648 Try to stand when your driving, at Least i feel I have more control when I'm standing, and then it's much faster to adjust the balance.
Thanks for the tip. I have been trying to stand a lot more when I'm riding and I have improved a lot. This was one of my first rides on this bike. I still have a lot to learn
Most of the time it’s your settings and depends on what the GoPro camera
I need to play with the settings. I just upgraded to a GoPro Black 13, I've been running a 9 so we'll see how the 13 compares. Still need to take it out. I also bought a wide lensed adapter for the 13 so I'm excited about that. I feel like the standard lense makes it tough to see both the bike and the trail at times.
@ that’s awesome I have a 7 black and thinking about upgrading in the future, let me know how it goes.
I love the 13. The biggest game changer was the Extra Wide Lens I put on the 13. It makes a giant difference with field of view. I am very happy with that purchase.
Very enjoyable riding videos. It's great to see KLX300Rs in action. The scenery on your "Desert Riding! Hard Enduro" was stunning. I also ride a KLX300R (2022) on mountain and high desert trails in N/W Nevada, and the terrain here is similar to what you ride on. I love my 300R. It is a very capable, reliable and versatile machine that becomes even better with proper rider set-up, a few rider specific ergonomic mods (bars, pegs, shock springs) and performance mods (KDX snorkel, EJK tuner, Pro-Circuit full exhaust, PAIR valve delete). The bike is a keeper.
Thanks for watching! Yea I love where I live, it's got some amazing country to discover. It's nice to be close enough to the desert to get in some winter rides while the high mountain single track is snowed in. Yea I love my KLX300R! I'm sure I could do some mods to make it much better than it is as well. Ignorance is bliss for me at this point, this is actually my first bike so I don't know what I don't know as far as mods go haha.
Just got a 2019 with addons, 3.51 KLX What a tractor, Lowered, rear added 13 tooth, CUB Mountain ,TN ATV single track , what a BOMB
That's awesome!
🌟 🌟 🌟
Thanks for watching!
Damn I like the green handle bar. I might have to put one on my KLX.
Was a necessity after tucking the front end and bending the stock bars haha. I do love the look of the green bars though. I went with a fat bar as well so was able to put handle bar risers on, which is nice. I'm not super tall but now I don't bend over as much.
Are you still in love with the klx300r? Would you buy it again with seat time on it?
I do love this bike. I'd buy it again for sure. It's the perfect bike for a newbie like me. Once I hone my skills a little more I'll upgrade to a KTM 300, but for now the KLX is perfect.
Good one 👍
Thanks!
Looks pretty rough ‼
It was a blast though!
Good one 👍 👍 👍
Thanks!
Always notice the green bar 💚
@@Dastardly_X haha yea had to upgrade to a fat bar because I tucked the front end once and bent the stock handlebars
🤘🏻 🌟 🤘
Thanks for watching!
Get a fuel controller and it will make the bike run much better.
How so? I'm pretty new to riding. This KLX is my first bike
@@darkcanyon8648 That is a great bike to start on and an incredible value for a dirt bike. I have owned both KTM's and Beta's and the KLX is very close to as good as the bikes that cost 2x as much.
Yea It does everything I want it to do. It's been a fantastic bike! I have been tempted at times to get a 300 XC-W but its tough to spend $12K when the bike I bought for $6K does everything I need.
Where is this placev
Southern Utah

@@Dastardly_X it was awesome! Good winter ride
What trail and where?
Southern Utah
Looks like it’s easy enough to pick up 👍
Yea not too bad. I have to pick it up far mar than I'd like to admit haha.
Nevermind, I see that it’s a 300R. 😊
Is that a KLX230R? If so, what kind of forks and triple clamps are on there?
Yea I am riding the KLX300R. Forks and clamps are stock.
Im really of thinking about picking one of these 300Rs up. I havent been on a Dirtbike for a really long time. THis is also my backyard pretty much so seeing it perform where Ill ride mostly was a great help. Have you done any upgrades to it?
Hey, I apologize for the slow response. I haven't done any upgrades on it outside of new handlebars and adding some headlights.
I have a 300r and a kx250 and I love it. Going to the black hills this year on the 300r
That's awesome! I love my KLX300R it's been such a fantastic bike!
Did you do any suspenion mods or adjusting ?.. Thinking about this bike.. 5'-11" 210 beginner / novice and I'd like a desert bike
I haven't done any suspension mods or adjusting. Only things I have altered on my bike was new handle bars with a riser, some wrap around handlebar guards and adding a headlight. Other than that this bike is stock. I have loved it. Its a great bike for the beginner/novice. Thats me. This is actually the first bike I've owned.
Nice video man
Thanks for watching!
are you using the stock tires?
Yea still rocking stock tires. They are about worn out. Almost time to put new ones on.
@@darkcanyon8648 which tires are u gonna put on? I ride east coast with a lot of mud. Stock tires don’t cut it. Have any tire suggestions?
I bought one new in 2021.This bike is top heavy, unstable and dangerous weighing in at 284 pounds. Ridiculously heavy for a 300. I rode it three times and sold it gladly Taki g a 2300 dollar loss. I race mx grand prix in the top of my class but not on a klx.
Thanks for watching and for the opinion. I'm fairly new to dirt bike riding, I stick to the trails. I enjoy the single track rides and feel this bike is built for that. It's definitely more of a budget bike so I'm sure there are things lacking. But for a starter bike I have liked it so far. Someday I'll bite the bullet and buy a KTM 300 XC-W. Mad props on MXGP, that would throw me out of my comfort zone real fast!
@@darkcanyon8648 cool ! I ride 2 stroke suzuki rm 250's now. They stopped in 08 but they are sweet. My 95 and 06 are fresh, weigh 216 and 211 pds.,handle like a dream and are low miles. They each cost 4k .Be safe
Sound like awesome machines! Safe riding!
I don't believe anyone advertises this as a race bike it's a trailbike for beginners old people with injuries and wom..... oh never mind just read your name that's why it's heavy
@@JeremySawdon just read my name that's why it's heavy ? I don't get it ! It's top heavy because it weighs 284 pds. It causes injuries because it's unstable in the turns and when it falls over on trails it falls heavy causing injuries. They make way lighter trail bikes then this. I have nothing against Kawasaki but I spent over 8k with the dyno jet and from experience knew I made a mistake 1st time out. People that don't know maybe because they havnt road their whole life might think it's great. But I would go Honda or yamaha wr for trail. And that comes from a suzuki guy that's winning vet races now. My name is Kelly Clark 556
I am beginner for dirt bike, I watching for learning , How long have you been ever for rode dirt bike?
Thanks for watching! I have been riding dirt bikes for the last 3 years, so I'm pretty new to it as well.
@@darkcanyon8648 Thank you , I look you good aventurine riding skill ! Get fun and luck . Thanks✌️
Where was this at?
Southern Utah. Where do you ride?
Don't have a ride right now, but riden all over AZ, Glamis and recently done some trails up in Oregon.
Better go get a new bike. I'd love to hit the pacific northwest! I have watched a few different RUclips channels that ride up there and it looks amazing.
Where is this it looks amazing and fun
This is Southern Utah, by Jacob's Chair. Thanks for watching!
Thanks man
` amazing what that thing can do (go over)! ... on stock D605's? Are you mostly in 2nd gear (except when you can really get moving)? If you're going to truck it to trail, why not just truck a 'real' trail bike?
Hey, just replied to another comment from you. This is actually Kawasaki's trail bike, not the dual sport. I love this bike though! It's amazing and can handle anything.
Just bought one today. This is exactly the type of riding I plan on doing. Great video
Thanks for watching! I have loved my bike. I enjoy both the high mountain single track and cruising in the desert
Beautiful area. I ride mine in the snow sometimes in WI out of boredom. But, throwing it in the truck and heading to desert for Xmas and might stop in that area if it isnt too cold LOL.
Right on! Desert riding can be a blast! I always have to switch to desert riding during winter months when my typical high mountain single track gets snowed in.
a daring (and Good) rider! stock sprockets & D605's ?
Thanks! I'm actually pretty new to dirt bike riding. This isn't the dual sport model (KLX300). This bike the Kawasaki's trail bike (KLX300R).
Hey man, I hit neutral on my 07 300R shifting from 1st to 2nd every now and then, I've found that it helps to rev first out pretty high before hitting second 👍
Right on man! Thanks for the tip. I have gotten better, but it still happens from time to time. Thanks for watching!
Great ride, super fun to see the transition in and out of the snow.
Thanks for watching!!
