Naw, Im going with Max. I think these Apacalyptic punks would rather catch a thunderpoon than be beat to absolutly bloody sh*t by some one with metal spikes and wrenches strapped to their wrists. I fucking love the way Max fights in this game. And Super Pist We never got a Mad Max 2. I can think of so many badass ways to improve in this game? And I don't give a shit what no one says; with some tweaking, this game could be a goddamn MASTERPIECE! I still play this game today, and I bought it years ago, and the only thing that really comes close to it is Days Gone with zombies/freakers instead of car combat or Twisted Metal if your an old school gamer like me.

We not only lost Alice: Asylum but American McGee also teased an Oz game in the same spirit as Alice.

I am sooo sad about it, I just found out!! I was so excited for Asylum a few years ago and didn‘t even know that it‘s possible that it would be blocked?! Why would EA do that? I don‘t know what to say but it ripped out a piece of my heart, Alice Madness Returns is my favourite game.. i would‘ve loved a 3rd part 😭

I am a bit late... I was following the patreon for asylum for a while and thought it'd be fine......Alice Madness Returns was my fave PS3 game. Here now after Bioware is releasing a game wearing Dragon Age as a costume and I seriously cannot hate EA enough.

I think this was why Steve Purcell made sure he owned the soul rights to his character Sam and Max out the gate so that he pepole would have to license HIM to use his ip. I feel like if it's something we all care about as creators we should. The Alice series was a vary personal work of Mr. MGee and it's heartbreaking to see his personal creation be taken away from him.

Max payne 3 ended well but not declare it final installment, I believe that Max Payne 4 the final chapter title will be suitable.

I bought Madness returns on Stem during the august sale and It’s still breathtaking. That Alice bible is a labor of love and the stunning dresses just feels like a loss.

To be honest, unless the game is made exactly as the bible wrote it to be I don't want a third Alice game. With McGee permanently leaving the industry, the game simply won't be the same without his touch and I'd rather not get a third game at all then get one that is poorly rushed through and lacking the depth the bible means it to have.

Alice 2 was always about historically preserving the atrocities of early "mental health treatment". Considering that the United States Government loves recklessly drugging anyone with a pulse and experimenting on them, this doesn't look well alongside their track record. The Government is in everything. They fund a lot of movies and games with militaristic themes or undertones. Think about it. Why would American Mcgee get sued for like millions of dollars if he tried to start a kickstarter or grassroots to make an Alice game on his own terms? Why the fuck do courts and lawyers and lawsuits have to be involved with videogames, which were originally based on creativity and artistic expression? It's because everything is censored now. (BTW, Y'all should look into Devolver Digital... they're a game publishing studio that gives absolute freedom to their indie developers... Devolver seems like the last bastion for incredible games, at a good price, that aren't afraid of going against the grain. They're like the antithesis of the four horsemen of shitty govt sponsord triple a game companies -Bethesda, Ubisoft, EA and Blizzard.

Its frustrating, especially because the game bible shows that the game has great potential to surpass the previous entries. I've been a huge fan of McGee's Alice, and have held it's story and vision dear to my heart. The game bible for Asylum kinda made it seem like it could've been a souls-like game, in a way, at least that's how I saw it.

I'm glad they did that. There is nothing to squeeze more from that game, but create a new game or even maybe proper remake (not Madness Returns). Anyway, the idea of asylum is so cliche to have it in title and doesn't do a favor to the original game. You don't need to point that out. The game is already have that concept. There is a lot of hidden meanings etc. This time I actually on EA side. Probably the first time :D
