Ontario is renowned for its breathtaking fall colours. As the season progresses, deciduous trees transform into vibrant tapestry of reds, oranges and yellows creating stunning contrast against the evergreen conifers (well, except the tamarack - the only conifer whose needles turn yellow).
Maple and oak turns red and orange.
Poplar, aspen, birch and tamarack turns yellow.
Pine, spruce and fir stays green.
Best time to see them is late Sept. to mid Oct.
