Haha ! Well the strange thing is that Monchichi was so used to cheap food at the beginning that his taste was always towards sweet things instead of healthy food. I was very surprised to learn that he became quite old despite of his eating preferences !

That is very kind but he is long gone to the Lord and is a Heavenly Ferret now. I tell the story for people to see that you stick with your animal friend in good times and rough times. In the end we will be together again.

Ferrets usually sleep 16 - 20 hours a day yes. Since his heart was weak I tried to keep him out of any exhausting ball play and the alike. The problem with sleeping actually was that his sickness / heart weakness occured in the hottest period of the year so i later kept him inside at daytime to achieve a good sleep. Also temperature is a big issue with ferrets they are vulnerable from 80 degrees Fahrenheit on. Thank you for your comment and your empathy.

Well Ferret means Thief and there you go.... i like their curious attitude very much. i prefer Ferrets over all other animals as i had the best experiences of my life with them. Wishing you lots of fun and adventures in nature with them at least that pleased my ferrets the most.

Your feeling is correct hence the name of the channel. Nonetheless i hope the experience of having many ferrets serves one or the other in many regards. No one is forgotten, they are in my heart and we will be reunited by the second coming of christ.

Ferrets nibbling at your feet mostly means an invitation to play IMHO. I guess if your ferrets smells very much if was not castrated? Ususally they smell a LOT more.
