For anyone who's old enough, seeing the now-forgotten speckled "snow" on a TV screen when changing channels and hearing the static is very evocative of the past - and it no longer exists on TV today.

I just found a Stromberg-Carlson TV in a flea market over the weekend (just like yours). It has a bunch of missing tubes but most of the once in the TV led up as well as the 10BP4 CRT. Do you have the schematics for this TV?. Thank you in advance and congratulation on your restored TV.

I love this set. I had a mint condition one for a while and ended up trading for a RCA 721 - and eventually an RCA 621. The GE is a big set/cabinet and takes up a lot of space, but it sure is beautiful. Thanks for sharing this video and making me regret parting with mine! 😊

I like that switch all a circle / or horizontal black line. Years later they add a frame with the shape of ( ) rounded lateral and flat upper and downer of screen. Greetings from 🇨🇱

I think this set would have been a basic model, ment to be viewed close by. Other companies made sets with larger tubes, but all would be considered small by today's standard. Even in the '70s a 25 inch tube was about as large as it got.
