We tossed our BAIT next to this oil tanker and CAUGHT a MONSTER! ( Galveston, Tx )
We were out like 17 miles out of Galveston,Tx in search of Red Snapper when we came apon this oil tanker. We seen bait busting up by the anchor so we stopped and pitched some baits and instantly hooked up to this massive Jack and the fight was on! We hope ya like the vid. After several cancelations we finally got a break from the weather and went offshore. We were in about 60 to 100 ft' of water. It was 1ft seas. Perfect conditions and we hooked up to some monster Red Snapper. We had a blast we caught our limit . I also saw some giant mangrove snappers caught. December sheepies are here! and they are Massive! On this vid we headed out to the jetties in search of sheephead and we found them. They were Huge! What's up fellas welcome back! this vid was all catch and release. I took my son on his first flounder mission. I took him to several famous flounder spots that are well known to hold flounder this time of year.We had a blast! The flounder were stacked up at the wall. My son caught his first flounder! In this video we went offshore for some red snapper fishing, we saw a shrimp boat and we casted out our baits. We instantly hooked up on a huge black-tipped shark. That red at 9:43 was a miracle gift fish. I literally cringed at the amount of stuff that was done wrong in landing that fish from lack of fish control, lack of line management or walking that fish into the corner, to sliding him up against for or 5 different taught lines (aka dehookers), to keeping his head out of the water and 4 or 5 half hearted gaff swipes. Saving graces? 80 lb mono and it was clearly just meant to be your fish. Good job. Rhe spinning rod hook up was nearly as painful to watch 😉 That said, you are fishing and i'm watching you fish, so there's that. Lol That mango was sick!

I have been going on these 12 hour trips at least once a year for about 12 years now. They can be frustrating, but we always have fun, and look forward to the next year's ARS season.
