How To Shoot Overhead Videos For Basically Nothing!
Don't let it eat your tape!!!
Thank you so much, you've done what I've wanted to do since i've seen the zero mouse come out. My poor g305 has been sitting in its box for years and i've wanted to do this with it for sooo long but I don't have the skills. Absolute Legend, ordering everything to make it now!!!
I hope you like it (: Its always good to see unused tech getting a new life!
I just designed my own 3d model fingertip mouse just yesterday and send to print. Cant wait. Total cost around 40usd with the board. Estimated to be 25g with side button. Um excited
That sounds awesome! I'd love to see it when you're done 😁
@@CF-Buildsstill printing, but due to its being a bit complicated, the first print was a fail. ivent it to resin print services and slice up the design so less overhang.
7:44 Please don't put dead batteries in the normal trash.
That was just for the bit, it was actually a brand new battery 😅 don't worry, I put it back in my battery drawer 😁
Retro Holy shit man this is so sick. The quality of not only the controller but also the video is so good, and considering your channel size I'm blown away. Keep it up man!
Thanks so much! I'm glad my effort doesn't go unnoticed 😁 be sure to check out some of my other builds (:
great video thought this was a big channel i cant lie
Thanks so much (: I'm relieved to see that my effort doesn't go unnoticed 😁
this is genuinely cool as fuck, regardless of absolutely everything youve designed your own custom lightweight mouse. on an extreme budget. thats fucking awesome bro holy shit and its sub 40g
Thanks so much (: I was actually surprised when I saw the final weight tbh
Can you describe the difference between how you were holding the mouse and how you are "supposed" to hold it? I can't see much difference between how you were holding the original mouse and your custom mouse.
The way I used to hold my mouse was by resting the palm of my hand on the back of the mouse and a bit on the desk, which limited my ability to make fast movements. With my custom mouse, I am forced to keep my palm off the mouse and the desk, meaning the mouse is the only thing touching the desk.
liked
Thank you (: I'm glad you liked it!
Looks sick! Love seeing all the different designs build channels have been making with mice lately
Thanks so much (: I've also been obsessed with watching mouse builds 😅
@@CF-Builds Agreed! Loved your screwdriver edits btw
@@wifiguy51 thank you (:
All the questions were answered in one video under 4 minutes, this is the god tyre video
Dude , great content. More for sure. Do a mitx xbox build. With those new 24pin power supplies. With an arc 380. Should be able to cram it all in.
That's a really cool idea! I'm glad you enjoyed the video (: Thank you!
Brilliant idea and well executed. Well done
Thank you very much! (:
want to build something similar except the budget wont allow me to use a Pi5 or a Pi4, for the prices at my country i can get a second hand ps4 :l , been looking at how a Pi3B plus handles ps1 emulation and heat handling, in this case i would have mounter an sd car extender to the rear serial port for easier access in case i wanna do something later, also, whats the reason to not use the original PS1 power supply? cant you just add a step down board and deliver the right ammount of volts to the Pi or would it add even more heat inside?
I was thinking of using the original power supply but in my research I determined that the PSU only outputs about ~10 watts which would not be enough for the Pi 5 (:
Might wanna remove the underwater filter on your voice. Also turn down the background music.
Thanks for the feedback (: This was my first video with a proper mic setup and I haven't quite tuned in my settings 😅
Cut off wheel 😂 americans make me laugh. We call that a dremmel tool
I call it a rotary tool. The attachment I was using is called a cutoff wheel. Most Americans actually call it a Dremel as well, but technically Dremel is just a brand that makes rotary tools, not the name of the tool. 😅
Emulation sucks. Just buy a decent crt and some old consoles and enjoy retro gaming as it is supposed to be enjoyed.
The only thing that made this interesting turned out to be fake (making it seem like it reads discs), I love being fooled by RUclipsrs. It went from "holy fkn sh*t", to "oh... so it was nothing special at all... like literally... what a fkn disappointment".
So you used the PlayStation 1 case for raspberry pie.why not just get a 3-D printed PlayStation one case or something like that?
Makes PS1 mod and video, shows 1 PS1 game playing 🤣🤣
If I sent ya two consoles , could link option be kept on? Also, pi 6? If it was equal to Xbox 360, and PS3, in what it could run, it would be really exciting, just to get the games back (that I do own) that I can't play anymore, because xb1 and PS4/5 don't wanna bother.
0:42 GTA fan here, that is not how GTA Liberty City Stories intro starts.
put a Beelink SER5 Pro Mini into the PS1 Case! it runs everything
That looks perfect for a future project!
yeah, let's remove hardware accurate ps1 games and throw inside an empty plastic box a raspberry pi with a not so accurate software emulation , yay.
Why is the camera inverted? Why not make it so your hands is in the place like if it was us?
Ruined a perfectly good PS1. Raspberry Pi emulation is abysmal! It is after experimenting with disgusting Pi builds, I switched to hunting for proper hardware.
But why No USB C Mod?
Not gonna lie, you should have found a PS1 that was labled as for parts for this. Also, what about the memory card ports? And it would have been cool if the power light lit up.
5:51 The power LED is fully functional! And the reason I got a working console is because the AS-IS listings usually don't come with the controller or anything, so it was cheaper in the long run to just buy the lot.
Ти не творець, ти вандал. Так спаскудити Ps1 ще треба постаратися.
that does not count really as “doing something to the ps1”. this is a raspberry pi project. disliked.
Broke original playstation to put raspberry inside 😵💫
i dont have a ps1 and im not planing to do this mod but i like these type of videos❤
Thank you (:
@CF-Builds ❤️
Desoldering pins looked too easy. Nice job
WOW, a Pi inside a PS1 shell, i almost didnt see that coming, it's only like the 60th video i seen of the exact same thing lol
Wanna see me do it again? 😅
@CF-Builds sure 😂
@@CF-Buildsi will watch again if you use a cool custom PlayStation one case👏🏽
I finished my project of stuffing a mini pc into an NES and not to toot my own horn but my build came out fucking awesome. The only thing that looks out of place is the back where I had to sacrifice some plastic for the wires coming out the back. I even got the led and power button to work and made the controller ports funtional. It's just that I'm super antisocial so probably no one will ever see my awesome NES PC unless they're my friend or something... But again, antisocial n stuff
@@CF-Builds Nope
You literally removed everything that made it a Playstation 1 lol. This clickbait vid should have been titled "I gutted my PS1 and used it's shell for a Raspberry Pi project!" It's an interesting vid and a cool idea. Obvious skills with a soldering iron and understanding of electronics.. The clickbait title just irks the hell out of me.
Bastighg v5 lol 2:58
Hey i saw u where a more like small RUclipsr and i really like the idea and the video. But there are some parts in the video that i really dont like as an example 5:16 this part. Its horrible. It hurts to watch. I like the sound effects you added tho they make it way less pain to watch Also this part 6:45 u left a big question What is your idea? 7:05 this effect is awful 8:43 why so quiet the entire time 9:07 makes me as a viewer feel like you think im stupid lol 9:56 id recommend removing the audio here and just be talking I hope you dont get this comment wrong its just what i saw what you could do better. I hope this comment reaches you at all lol For the rest of the video LOVE IT ^^
That looks like a 80GB ps3 nice but if you haven’t you should RIPfelix first video on ylod so you can make sure your console says alive
God that start up sound! Fuuuuuuuu 🤤
Such a banger 😩💦🔥
Bro I wish I had my childhood tv I had two childhood tbs one was a 14 inch and the other was a 27-36 inch I can remember I was too young and everything looks big to a kid/teen and didn’t care about CRTs back then
I'd recommend trying to find a free CRT locally, it feels so good to go back 😁
@ oh no I have CRTs I have plenty just wish I had my childhood ones
I could be sworn I saw the tv say PS2
It's a backwards compatible PS3, it can play PS2 discs (:
While I'm not saying this isn't an awesome build, I always thought an unneeded phone would make a better processor than a Pi. Maybe the software isn't quite there yet? I'm just saying, and not critiquing.
That's not a bad idea for a future video 😁
I modded my PS3 with a different disc drive, same with my OG Xbox.
For the parallel port you can try and put 2 usb female ports
That's a good idea (:
Motorstorm was such an underrated racing game. Graphics looked amazing, gameplay was fun, and the destruction physics when your vehicle exploded from too much boost was so cool, watching springs and wheels and components flying everywhere
When I was a kid, my mom took me to work with her at Target because she didn't have a sitter for me and they had the video game demo kiosks there.. I played the Motorstorm demo for hours almost every day on that demo unit just crashing the cars and stuff 😭 Such good times!
I've uploaded the STL for the replacement screw cover in the description (:
functional - and inspiring
Thanks so much (:
I like that you used an original controller and just cleaned it up. I have one of those converter dongles that I use for my Logitech wireless PS2 controller so I can play games with an emulator using it. It works better than the cheapo Android gamepad that I usually use. As for game suggestions, all of the FF series, 1 through 9 and Tactics as well. You might not be able to get a PS2 emulator working on that, but if you can, I'd add 10 through 12.
Thank you (: And the Logitech controllers were legendary 😍
Nice loop bruh
Thanks, haha 😅
Nice build! But how did you get the power button working on it?
I basically just connected the pi's power adapter signal wire (the green wire) between the posts on the power switch, so when the switch is pressed, the circuit is complete and the power adapter receives the signal to send power to the pi. It is shown at 5:30 (:
