I believe my wife got that from West Elm. We looked at getting reclaimed locally and other options but the West Elm one was best price and easiest to install. I was doing enough projects so Im ok with cheating on the mantle.

What size pallet is this?
Like you said, although i am not 100% onboard with your design but I liked your video, LOL. I would prefer a more narrow fireplace, bring the TV down a bit, add soundbar below the TV, skip the mantle, put up a shelf above the TV for storing electronics such as settop box and game consoles. But I think you did a very nice job. For me, TV is focal point for a media wall. So the viewing height is the upmost important item. But if your main focus is the fireplace, then you made right design choice.
My wife said the same thing. I made sure I got a mount that tilts down. We tested it out and we're not craning our necks to watch it. We also have a dining room table in the room so I wanted it high enough that we could see the tv from the table too. Thanks for the feedback.

Where’d you find the prefab mantle?
We actually got that from West Elm (wives love that place). We tried a local wood guy and smaller stores, but the one at West Elm was priced so well and was very easy to install so we went with that.
