What she says doesn’t pertain to everyone. The written test had no questions that was on that app she suggested, and it’s not just common sense because there’re two good answers on many of the questions and remember you have to get a B to pass. I got 100% on all the skills to me that was very easy, so again it depends on the person. I got a 73% on the written and had to retake it.

You and one other channel are the only one's literally, to address actual DETAILS in the difficult realities of this field, particularly CNA. Coincidentally, she is also an Asian girl who was studying toward higher nursing. The rest of the video's are a lot of happy horse shit, they honestly don't reveal details or truths and clearly only uploading for personal gain, not to actually help other's out there with the reality of how it is!!! In fact you are the only one, (I've watched a million), who addresses or even bothers to mention heavy lifting/physical strain required, and patients hitting. Two of the most critical issue's one should be aware of in this kind of work and I'll admit has me reconsidering, although I aspire to LPN but even my mother who was a higher up nurse, warned me that patients will hit you and you can not hit them back!!! I have only cared for people in their homes and irrigated tubes and done difficult tasks and lifted alone with no mechanical device, it's not worth the low pay but I have no idea how we are to deal with a combative situation and knowing my mother who was a nurse herself, was abused as a patient towards her end stages of kidney failure, I would not be able to handle the mistreatment if I witnessed it, and it's rampant. A lot of facilities are lazy now, they don't encourage patients who can walk, to walk, claiming "fall risk", even though this harms a patient further physically & mentally and is done purely due to a lazy staff that can't be bothered to promote healthy exercise and when you think about it, everyone has the potential to fall. I've begun wondering if I should take out loans and pursue medical lab tech, it's better I consider these realities and contemplate enduring it all and for the pay....I was going to for experience towards LPN, but LPN I don't think is getting away from this as much, although once I gained experience there I could possibly move on towards medication distribution and assisted living over night or work privately, choosing my clients. My question is, if you even see this comment or check in, since you filmed your video's a year ago it shows, are you still working as a CNA and how are things going? Or have you moved on to pursuing other career path, maybe returned to school for more advancement as a nurse? I get the impression you got overwhelmed and weren't going to put video's up anymore and maybe weren't in the line of work anymore. For what it's worth, you addressed the harsh topics and details NOBODY says in their useless video's!!! I've changed a two pound diaper before and know that look on your face when you mentioned trying to eat after doing, seeing, smelling such and believe me I DEEPLY SYMPATHIZE!!!!!!!!!! I don't know if you ever check this anymore but would hope to hear any kind of update on how you've been and where you're working now, still as a CNA or what your pursuing.....I hope you're healthy & happy, blessings & thank you ❤️🌹❤️

omg i read every single word you wrote and it’s making my eyes water. 🥺 everything you said made me so emotional. update, i am not a cna anymore and i have switched my major from nursing to digital marketing! it’s something i’ve been passionate about for awhile but never had the courage to switch! i would definitely suggest to you and to everyone else to prioritize you’re mental health over anything!!! i knew i wasn’t passionate about nursing and being in the medical field anymore, so i didn’t want my suffering to affect the quality of care id give others. there are people that are mentally strong and passionate and can get thru all the battles of being in the medical field which is great!! but that just wasn’t me. thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and for checking up on me. May God bless you and your family! ❤️ (ps i’ll probably do an update video explaining why im not a cna anymore and the rest of my experience 😉)

Hello....Two questions....In order to JUST take a CNA class and JUST to be certified as a CNA is it required to have the covid vaccination? If not, then my next question is, is the covid vac required in order to WORK in a hospital as a CNA? Also, a medical college in Oklahoma City warned NOT to take a CNA course online...it will not be honored. Also, (yes, another 'also" haha ) my daughter took a CNA course and only did her "externship" for a couple of weeks at a convalescent hospital. She then applied for a job at two hospitals and the BOTH wanted to hire her. So, it's not that difficult to get a job as a CNA working in a hospital right after you finish the CNA class. :)
