Here's a complete recording of the club's take on the classic Christmas carol 'Silent Night', filmed at G. Kelly in Bow earlier this month.

Earlier this year, the club were back in Romford after nearly an eight year abscence for a rematch between local rivals Robins and McDowell's who had both open new shops in the interim period.

A few weeks back, the club were back in the iconic seaside town of Southend-on-Sea after just over a decade, for a visit to the area's newest pie & mash shop, Brickie's.

Here's some footage from the club's annual pre Christmas meeting at G. Kelly in Bow earlier this month. Where we heartily dined on a festive meal of pie & mash, pulled a cracker or two, followed by a round of carols to round off another year.

Here's some footage of the club singing a reversioning of the classic Christmas song 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' at G. Kelly's in Bow, with pie & mash being the focus. This song has often been the finale to our P&M carols which are held at the end of our festive meetups.

Until recently thought missing believed wiped, here's some rare footage of the club's third and final trip to Peter's in Shadwell from November 2009, a couple of years before the shop closed. This footage was shot by long standing and regular club member Edward Mosse.

Season 2021-22 came to a sizzling finale on one of the hottest days of the year. It was also the first season final to take place in three years and notably on this occasion Nick Evans topped the league table and won the club's trophy for the first time in 11 years after a stellar effort during the season. Back in October, the club were down in Hughes in Ruislip; one of the newer pie & mash shops on the scene and the first to open in West London for nearly a decade, this shop was already trading for 18 months at the time of our visit.

Back in mid-November last year, the club were down in Castle's for a spot of lunch, to quell those mid-Autumn blues. A Camden institution, it has served generations of customers through it's impressive 85 years of trade, serving dozens of pies over many a lunchtime.

At the beginning of this year, the club started the new decade with a trip that took us out of the metropolis of London, onto the suburbs of North-West Kent. The destination for our meeting was Scotts, an elusive pie shop that is located on Cotmandene Cresent, a quiet high street on the fringes of suburbia.

On the first day of February, the club embarked on a gastronomic tour of three pie & mash shops along the Central line, visiting shops such as T&J Kelly's, Robins and Noted Eel & Pie House. Here's a video account of our gut busting adventure.

On the last Friday of November, the club ventured south of the river to Walworth's finest and most historic of eateries, Arments; which has been trading in the area for over a century and has served many a generation over the years. The club has visited this place a number of times since 2000, although five years have passed since our last visit, so this luncheon trip was timely.

On the 14th October 2019, the Pie & Mash Club turned 25 years old. To mark this important milestone, a few days later the club held a birthday party at Goddard's in Greenwich. It was an evening full of joyous celebration, hearty fare, speeches and was attended by many members who visited the club over the years.

The club began the silver anniversary season with a trip to our longstanding feeding grounds at M.Manze in Bermondsey. After a lenghty Summer recess, a hearty luncheon of pie, mash and eels was just the tonic we needed.
