#136 Storytelling and Body Language for Advisors
I know that guy!
He's a GREAt guy.
Love this...
❤❤❤
That's good.
This was such a good podcast!!’
Some good stuff to know going into the industry.
One of the things that was odd about the financial crisis of 2008 was how few people in the financial sector lost their jobs on the basis that they had failed to see it coming- after all this was precisely the kind of threat they were employed to avoid. I finally realised that the reason no one was really worried by this lack of foresight is because these people were not really employed to actually see the future- because that is impossible. What these people were really employed to do was embody a certain kind of mythology- that of the human 'expert'- their role was mostly symbolic and designed to reassure clients that their interests were being taken care of by people who knew what they were doing. The real danger that AI represents is that it might become a better story- that the narrative of AI as a tool of prognostication might become more compelling than the mythology of the human expert. Were this shift of perception to occur then AI may well replace humans in the prediction business- not because it's much better than humans at seeing the future, but because the story of all an powerful AI might prove t be the more appealing narrative.
Only after 6 months asked for " introductions " after adding value consistently during the 6 months.

Thx Eric. Appreciate that. By the way, did we send you an EAN hat yet? #FlatteryWorks
2.0! Get it! Love this vision
This podcast is ridiculous. Alls they spoke about was super powers and repeated themselves 5000x.
Thanks, Gordon. It's one of our superpowers to really dive deep into a topic. In this episode, it was superpowers, but most of the time, it's not superpowers. Since you listened to the episode where we said superpowers 5000x, what's your superpower?
Like to have a dollar for every time they said superpower.
Let me guess...you'd have $5,000?! (see comment above)
Hey bro...i just wanna say that u are doing good just keep going.
Thanks for having me on, it was a pleasure!
Great video guys!
Thanks. Matt is more than just a pretty face!
Love the show! Pricing matrix - is that something I can find on website or is that an exclusive piece?
Great stuff guys
