Looking outside my window as I produce this track, you wouldn’t think that we were only a few days away from the winter solstice.
The sun is shining brighter than ever (solar maximum?) and even the cherry blossom trees are confused as to the season.
I promised a dreamy track for this year’s winter solstice, and while the darkness is all around us, this track carries the hope that it won’t be long before the light returns.

Summer is starting to fade, he can feel it in the air. Memories of laughter, sunshine and children casting bread into the river evaporate into the cooler Autumn tinged air. Not lost, never forgotten, simply replaced by falling leaves and welly clad dog walkers wrapped in warm woollen clothing. The estuary is calling.
The longer the night gets outside, the more we are led to dig inside ourselves to let the light shine. The sun deprives us a little, of course, but it is for our own good. I see that you have made this inner journey, the sun must be proud of you😁
Of a captivating simplicity, of a disturbing sweetness, of an electric depth with a diaphanous foam, an almost guilty listening pleasure... but maybe I'm simply digressing because as you write I'm plunged back into the 80s/90s with Tangerine Dream, and my brain is having trouble handling the return of this era of pre-digital sweetness with its musics that flew towards their dreams.
This has to be the comment of the year! Love it!!

Haha Mister 2... so making darklighted (yes this word exists🙃) music was only a cover, à fake nose... I think you have found your path though. You have to let down the queen and please only your subscribers, otherwise you won't escape from higher danger now that everybody knows your true nature.
Hehe, I’m not great with genres; I like to think of myself as a channel for the Universe’s artistic expression. My last track was supposed to be an upbeat Christmas ambient track. Look how that turned out... I find it best to just accept what happens and enjoy the process. Live for the moment!
I totally share your vision. For myself I say that my style is experimentation and I also understand this term as a personal transformative experience, a way of connecting with what is beyond us, but also with the infra-mental, the brain and its incredible power of simulation and processing of reality that deactivates us most of the time by locking us in emotional or logical bubbles. Your channel does not fit into any classic genre and is each time a refreshing and captivating discovery. And, living the moment with a non-reactive body and an empty awareness of the projective fictions of the ego is also my credo😊.
The atmosphere is great! I am both in the city and in space, within myself and completely outside, I want to dance and meditate, there is a taste of metal and desire, it's wild and subtle. Well done and thank you.

I really like the atmosphere. These two parts seem to follow each other quite logically. For my part, I would really like to escape the opaque and noisy metallic universe that you describe in part one. The getaway makes me think of what it means to "escape" in a big city, to extricate yourself from one street to project yourself into another, surrounded by ring roads and commercial zones, an endless escape. At the same time, flee to go where? In nature, which is truly welcoming only if civilization is not too far away? In itself? it's complicated when you're born from a supergregarious species. Man, you make me ask myself too many questions! No, I'm kidding, I love it...

I listened to it on repeat for a long time. This piece eludes me (but all your pieces have something elusive). Each of your new creations confirms the first impression I had when I discovered you, that you must be someone complex, even secretive. This piece is a new escape into hidden dimensions. Suddenly I sink into a fold of the spatiotemporal web, and a few days later I leave a comment😄
Complex, secretive. Yes, I can be. The introvert in me often seeks the quieter trail, where my thoughts flow uninterrupted and my sound can take shape. I often get lost in the creation process and fail to capture the deeper meaning on paper, even more so when returning to a track after the holidays. I’m relating the outcome of this track to a photo taken out on the river, but yes, there is a deeper meaning in there somewhere. It’s just lost to my memories for the time being.
@@Wave2Music Life forced me to develop my introverted side; I had enough of suffering the consequences of my extroversion, especially when you are a swan😉, when being a duck is unnatural. I am not surprised that there are several levels of reading in your work, if I understood correctly they are also there for you. That's what I love about producing somewhat abstract or intuitive works, is that they always have something to tell us and never get tired of hiding meaning.

That's an absolute chill, quite magical, almost too much to the point where a subtle sadness or languor appears as a watermark which gives the piece a surprising depth and balance.
Poetic as always! I have little time to create during the summer holidays, so this felt like my last track for a while, hence the sadness. The future is unravelling before our eyes though, so maybe fate will find a way for me to produce some more before my pockets are empty.

In any case, each time you manage to extricate yourself from survival to escape into creation, you produce original and high-quality works which deserve much more audience and which I discover each time with delight. Another completely unique creation of its kind which I have the impression, given your description, that even you do not know what it really is. You captured a diffuse sensation, you made a subtle precipitate out of it, at your image, inhabited by the slight feeling of madness which it seems to me was inhabiting you at this moment of creation.
To be honest I really struggle placing most of my tracks into a specific genre. I just get lost in the process, and when the flow takes hold I can't help but see it through to completion, even though it's not always what I envisioned. Life Finds a Way.

We are non-mystical channels, earth outlets that convey what must be, because the black continents dominate the weak yet dazzling light of the world. Sometimes it is necessary to reveal the dull depths of the soul, and other times it is appropriate to bring joy out of chaos. @@Wave2Music Well, it's a beautiful attitude towards life, not easy to maintain, however, because life is very often sneaky and ironic. Numerous buried brain programs act implicitly behind the luminous wills that we brandish in the face of adversity. Life is certainly a spiritual journey, or of the spirit, or towards the spirit, which is perhaps not as great a gift as one might think because reality remains outside of us. Life is a spiritual journey that often makes us bite the dust, at least when we give life time to play its game and force us to keep our jokers in our pockets. Regarding the attitude which consists of expecting the unexpected, I agree, because any surprise generates emotions which lock us into the automatism of the reaction, but the brain constructs simplified and functional simulations to save energy and can't help but be surprised. If you succeed, it is because your mind is well sharpened and wards off the survival programs which largely constitute us and the affects which lure us into mirror prisons. Damn, I Realize I didn't say a word about art or music😁

@@Wave2Music Whether we are conscious of it or not, everything acts on us, everything is recorded by the brain, that's why we have to be careful who we hang out with and what we listen to... One way or another, your songs are in the people who listened to them and act in them. I would not be surprised if in a future dream this incredible image that I cannot describe constitutes a world in which I would be immersed... Furthermore, it's certainly not as good a piece in my eyes as the previous one which I loved, but it still holds up. You really do good shit💪

Your English is way better than my French (non-existent). Thanks for commenting in such detail and glad you enjoyed it! I try to put some meaning in words to the music I create if I have time. Lately I have been thinking about AI and its impact on the world. This track kinda fell into place after I spotted some strange object in a pool of water that blended with the reflection of the sky, making it hard to tell if it was real (the cover image is the reflection I saw). It captured my concerns perfectly, expressing the idea that our eyes can no longer be relied upon, and unless we physically touch something, it’s extremely difficult to determine its authenticity. Touching the water caused a ripple that broke the illusion. The symbols were created using AI. I changed the texture of each symbol to add visual interest while emphasizing its artificial nature when paired with the reflection.

The link between the phenomenal and the noumenal, the appearance and the truth of a thing, and all this in connection with the influence of AI on the world, on our fragile and yet persistent anthropology, on the possible fusion with her, on the inner path perhaps to resist it, or find the way to succumb to it without getting lost, or music, like your piece that I am listening to, as a means of uniting appearance and the truth and digest the power of AI.😉 These are not subjects that are easily covered in oneself and even less so on RUclips with the duty of conciseness that is required...😅.
