La del 99 era por mucho superior
There might be a little bit more animation in 1999 but the 2011 looks so much better.
2011 looks so flat, the colouring has much less depth and it overuses flashy effects because it can’t demonstrate fluid and impactful motions and solid frames without altering the environment, unlike the original, which keeps the environment stagnant and has much more stronger keyframes, camera angles and animation. The original also adds more scenes aswell as altering scenes to improve the impact of motions and frames tenfold, whereas the newer version copies the manga almost 1:1, disregarding the difference between manga and anime, and the necessarily to adjust certain aspects to fit another form of media. The remake also has much less experimentation and emotion, I bet the original brings back a lot of memories, which this isn’t nostalgia, because this would extend to people who haven’t watched the series. It’s embedded in the backgrounds and scenes not being “idealistically perfect” but rather more realistic, dynamic and much less general, making it so you can tie real life events you’ve experienced that may seem unrelated to each scene. Overall, the remade version comes out much less creative, much more flat, much less emotion provoking, less smooth, less experimental, less solid, and uses intense blue / sun rays to cover up their faults and lack compared to the succession of the original
@@Reigenmobpsycho The 1999 version definitely has some high peaks but also some very low lows. For example, Kurapika vs Uvogin in the 1999 version is very janky, lots of wonky keyframes and animation without proper in-betweens. The 2011 might not have the swag of 1999, but it is an overall more consistent experience. And I've always preferred consistency over swag.
@nichonick I prefer experimentation or “swag” as you call it over consistency because consistency is limiting yourself, although you are minimizing bad scenes you are also minimizing good scenes, which leads to mediocrity. With experimentation sure you will have some bad moments but you will also have plenty really good moments, it’s unfortunate that anime has mostly stopped experimenting out of fear of money loss and how much effort it takes, and it’s also unfortunate how a lot of people have this same mindset as you, which is one of the biggest reasons why anime will never reach the quality it used to be.
@@Reigenmobpsycho Idk, HxH has always mostly been about it's amazing storytelling and I feel like consistency is most important for that. If there's 1 or 2 amazing fight scenes in the arc but the rest of the arc is just still frames, I don't think it's worth it. Remember, HxH never had nearly as much time and money to spend on each episode like JJK or Demon Slayer.
@NichoNick also, if you’ve noticed anime overall becoming a bit more plasticy in colouring, as in less colourful and never reaching black or white in the palette but an in between, this is also because of fear of experimentation. Sure the picture gives more of a flashy look with very bright colours but it disregards realism, detail, and human creativity, it doesn’t use our full potential all for the purpose of maximizing profit. I’ve gotten quite sick of it and it’s only getting worse, i can’t stand to watch any anime after 2010 because I’m really into art and how much is possible with it and it’s so annoying how we no longer use our full potential, idc how bad something looks as long as they actually tried experimenting with something new and took the risk all for the sake of artistic vision it is good in my book, this is why no more “iconic” animes are coming out, all of the most popular animes are quite old now because they tried new things, a lost art.
Two peak... feel bad for these two
Hunter x Hunter's 1999 reminds me of Yu yu Hakusho ,The colors are retro, and the strongest point is that it has great transitions, something that is rare in anime nowadays.
Definitely cherry picking
primeira temporada teve animação muito superior!
That's because they had the best fucking animators from different studio's to do it and had 3 years of preparation while jc staff only had 6 months of preparation💀
A.P.P.P in questo OVA ci ha lavorato Satoshi Kon, è di un epicità unica.
I start watching OPM because of season 1, and stop watching because of season 2
JC Staf needs another 10 years to create anime as good as season 1 OPM. The quality difference is so huge, Mad house is the best anime studio in the world
99:✊🤼♂️🤜💢🏃♂️👊🤸♂️🏃♂️🤜💥🤛🏃♂️🤸♂️👊✊💢💥 2011: 👁👄👁
simple... watch both and enjoy:)) its not like you have anything better to do with your life 10 hours and you've watched hellsing all of it then... get some snacks and watch hellsing comedy abridge for a good laugh end of the day
Title should be: Best moments from OPM season 1 and worst moments from OPM season 2
I used to think the 1999 animation was better, but now that I've seen the 2011 version and a lot more animes there iis no comparison, the 2011 is just too good
Jc staff actually animated toaru series too
JCスタッフでもめちゃくちゃ神作画の人いるしな 超電磁砲とかエデンズゼロ1期と同じクオリティーで作ってくれたら文句ないわ
It shouldn't even be asked. Madhouse is up there with Sunrise and Gainax.
2011 hanzo went straight to business. 1999 hanzo was toying around
99 is very very fantastic ❤
Ova is very insane!
Our problem boils down to greed. We’re too greedy and want to experience more of something that already satisfied us. OPM S1 is a masterpiece that will never be forgotten in conversations about animation and cinematography.
its not greed. just keep on giving what you gave out. we not asking for more then what they have offered before
i feel so bad for senator phillips
One punch man will go downhill with JC Staff. They are not the best for this type of manga. The animation and fluidity sucks through out season 2, only reason OPM become so famous was because of season 1 animation. When s2 came out people dislike it when JC Staff toke over. Point is this is gonna be like Seven Deadly Sins, it’s probably gonna flop due to bad animation
I never really got around to appreciating opm s1's animation since the only anime i watched before it was azumanga daioh. that was until s2 that night dawned before me
Ova is only better since they had to focus on only making 5 episodes, while the new stardust crusaders has 30+ episodes with limited budget
The OVA had a limited budget too, dingus. Thats why they only made 5 episodes to begin with, same goes for the 2000 OVA and the 2007 Phantom Blood movie. A.P.P.P just never had a good budget for any of them.
De cual escena es esa ?
Ashita no joe
1999 choreography is really cool.
1999 IS THE BEST ANIMATION.
I mean as someone who's watched like 3 animes over the course of 5 years , I genuinely don't see anything wrong with season 2 animation but yeah, I find it fine yk.
0:33 that was sick
Ova is better at depicting dio as a threat and a beast fighting, and the way town is a lot more alive is also cool, the surroundings are great and feel like some insane street fight + dio sucking joseph’s blood really feels like a power up he was fighting star platinum bare hands and breaking a building to pieces Anime is a lot, and I mean a lot better at making it intense, anime also has better looks and dio’s design is much cooler and dripped, to add on he’d be much more menacing if they didnt FROM THE BEGGINING OF THE FIGHT start to humiliate him A problem for both is how they completely forgot about dios gravity control in part one (on himself doesn’t work on others) his stingy eyes and freeze
oh downs n9510 shroo n9510 OFF yyyyyyyyyyyyy cocky coco yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cocky coco
The OVA is better.
Itadori 👀
btw most fight scenes in season 1 were outsourced so madhouse didnt really make them
People throw this excuse a lot, why dont the season 2 team outsourced the same animators then
@ because the same animators didn’t wanna do it again? is that really ur argument 😭
OPM season 2 reminds me of modern One Piece animation It’s not bad, but they’ve been having to push episodes so much the animation can seem basic and nothing noteworthy. OPM shouldn’t be like that, as the manga art is rebound as amazing.
That is the dumbest fucking comparison I've seen. In what universe is the animation for most of modern One Piece episodes "basic"?
Both peak anime
I hope JC will not ruin S3, and check why do fans hate their work
0:25 Excuse me, wtf ?!
I hate people who add a lot of blur to every animation😡
1:09 Metal bat's nightmare:
original feels much more hellsing than ultimate does especially after reading the manga. seras in the blanket after being rescued by alucard is from the prototype manga, so i'm assuming they looked at kohta hiranos other works when making 2001.q
Mario
Virgin 2011 vs Chad 1999
Classico tem o molho
Its not that its bad tbh, madhouse just did unbelievably good and i heard they have 3 years to develop season 1. While Jc staff only have like a year or not even a year on a deadline. I've seen some Jc staff anime and i can tell you its not like they're bad its just the production constraints is so bad.
Anime Adaptation in production 😊 J.C.Staff 💀
Change the title to Drmovie vs Production IG.
JC Staff animation is very good.
