A staple in the community since 1981, Kingi's Kajukenbo Self Defense Institute has been cultivating empowerment in its students and participants by reaching out through martial arts, education, and mentoring. With our history of training, achievements, knowledge and wisdom passed down over the years, we have been able to effectively relate that expertise and understanding to students of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds. We aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment for individuals to grow and learn, and an opportunity for people to explore and develop personal goals and success.

Here are some highlights from our 2023 Ohana Lanui Gala! The Kingi Ohana House gathers every year to celebrate our impact and the impact of others on the community as we look forward to what the future holds.

We attended the Emperado KSDI World Championships in Las Vegas, NV on July 22-23, 2022. RJ and his opponent had one of the best fights of the event. These two young warriors went at it for 3 rounds. Great showing of skill, heart, determination, and respect. Good times, great fights, and all Ohana.
