I remember unlocking Roger/Alex characters was a real pain in the arse in this game, you had to make sure you only left with 5% of your lifebar in the end of final round in one of the stages to hear announcer saying - "great", which then would trigger a secret stage fight against either one of them next and even then you would still have to finish your arcade mode run before finally unlocking it...

This is the game that made me love racing. I’m jealous you can play it.👍

Just gotta be real gentle on the analogue stick, I like to do it in a lot if games but they do end up breaking out into a sprint pretty easy if you press it too much

Even if im dead in future the city gonna be the same, cars are driving, people are walking the world isn't stopping in this game but seeking someone to play it again thus it will continue to exist.

Trying to capture what a CRT looks like on camera is like trying to unfry an egg.

With PS1 games and polygons, most of your assets are no longer done pixel by pixel, so there's none of the optimizing for CRT's quirks that can be easily done with sprites.

I remember being young and seeing gta 3 for the first time, and thinking "how were they able to create this whole world? And how did it fit into this single disc?" It used to amaze me that they would create this massive map, just to be used in one game. Eventually, gta 3 got Stories, and gta 4 got the story dlcs. Then we get gta 5 and it's all about online, with a story that's a mess. I have no hope for 6, it feels just like the next big map to be used in online, single player campaign is not as well thought as it used to be. Elaborating a little on that, they were inspired by classic movies, like mafia movies, scarface, the San Andreas with the whole 90s gangs vibe. The 3d era still is my favourite because replaying them feels just like rewatching a classic movie, each cutscene oozing personality, with some great lines.

This gives feeling mix of nostalgia and Lonely.( It's like I'm stuck in 2008)

I'm currently replaying this game now. it's crazy how well it still holds up to this day, definitely one of my all time favorites.
