This MX5 is factory limited to 20-25mph. If you remove the limiter which is the wire he cut it will go 60mph

So how does the throttle response feel? Does it feel extremely twitchy? I dont like the touchy throttle on my e ride.

Check your battery and make sure its a Greenway battery, if its a Scud you need to absolutely send it back because it "could" be a potential fire hazard.

@@shockadellickRead the fine print on the battery. It’s towards the bottom. All it says is Scud.

Unfortunately, there is right now reasons to believe that fire video might be fake or at the very least manipulated. don't know yet, but keep your eyes on it, and don't just believe everything you see and hear, we have no shortage of shenanigans going on do we. use critical thinking You have to keep in mind, the bike space is very competitive, things take place to make the other guy look bad, is this what happened here, don’t know but we know such things happen when market share and competition is so close.
@@SuperMatt2112 nope it's 100% real. Luna is recalling some mx5s with a "Scud" battery and replacing them.
Wow even in sport the mx5 looks pretty far ahead, reminds me of how the mx4 vs eride did which is crazy because that's not even max power

I just did a news segment on the MX5 and a fire video that was just posted up. I have reason to believe it’s an MX4 in the video I saw, but I was curious if your brake calipers were blue or gold. They advertise them as gold and other images I’ve seen are gold, but I was wondering if they had a run of blue? Mine should arrive on Tuesday and I’m eager to get on it🤘🏾
They are blue and I hope you enjoy your new bike.
So some of the MX5's have blue calipers then that video you posted of the burning bike is more than likely an MX5 also. I'm concerned on pulling the trigger on buying the MX5. I'm probably gonna wait a few months and see if there's any issues.
@TheCoppergoat I just rode it around and it was working great but it is better to be safe than sorry.
@@shanebaird-the-ebikecowboy I don't believe that from 1 failure you should be worried about your battery but if I know Talaria and Luna they've always worked with their customers and I'm sure they'll address the issue. Enjoy it's a very cool bike. Wish I had the money to afford one. I have a surron light bee X for reference =)

Yeah I have the same concern. I’m tryna decide between this or an e ride pro ss 2.0. I think the battery also ran out faster for surronster because he was going like 45 the whole time
@@mrcrusty3151this bike has 3 modes (eco, sport, hyper) surronster rode on hyper mode which has more power than e ride pro ss

Everyone is so worried about the range, it’s the same battery as the Pro SS. I ordered an MX5, can’t wait to get it!

Just plug the battery in and turn the key. It must be that third cable on the plug that does something.

A LOT of phone mounts (for cars and bikes) I’ve noticed aren’t good at holding the phone when the case is on the phone seeing as every manufacturer makes the case differently. I’d say try without the case (if you haven’t already) and see if that helps. It might seem less safe, but if your phone doesn’t fall out, I’d say it’s safer than being out on a ride and losing your phone

I find the faster I go in soft stuff the easier it is to stay up and if your not going fast just stay consistent on speed because once you slow down you wipe out

I just got one as well it's worlds better than a GoPro. After my 12 stopped working for no reason I switched and I'm happy I did!
New mic will help a lot. I generally prefer chest mount especially if you have a tendency to look left right a whole lot.In this video the helmet cam looked great. Its usually bad for those that ride in cities and at intersections who have to look back and forth frequently.
