I LOVE THAT INTRO and this band so bad...
the fact this song relates to my relationship with my abusive mother proves of how good of a song it is <3
Ronnette, my dear, don't ever disappear Do what you want as long as you stay here I need you now, I love you so much, more than you could know The Christmas kids were nothing but a gift And love is a tower where all of us can live You'll change your name or change your mind And leave this fucked up place behind But I'll know, I'll know I'll know, I'll know I'll know, I'll know I'll know, I'll know Appearing unsightly with devils inside me If you ever try to leave me, I'll find you, Ronnie If you ever try to leave me, I'll find you, Ronnie If you ever try to leave me, I'll find you, Ronnie If you ever try to leave me, I'll find you, Ronnie I'm leaving, Phil, I'm leaving now I'm going to escape, but you won't know how Or where to find me when I'm gone I'll drink myself to death inside this prison cell This prison cell So get me out of here Get me out of here Get me out of here Get me out of here You'll change your name or change your mind And leave this fucked up place behind But I'll know, I'll know I'll know, I'll know I'll know, I'll know I'll know, I'll know

A sonoridade desta música soa reconfortante para mim mas a história por traz é definitivamente tenebrosa

It been twelve years and you'll still at three hundred subscribers
Ronnie was probably the least shocked person in the world when Phil Spector was convicted of murder in 2009
I'm touched.

The fuck
I just wish I was there and listened this song before it got popular
We love this song!
I was jamming to this song٫ i was in the mood to listen to it again٫ i saw all the videos about this٫ its a good song٫ but i was furious when i found out the backstory٫ very traumatizing.
Hesring the chorus on tiktok thinking it s a nice song about not forgetting someone : 😊 Actually hearing the song and learning about what Ronnie went through with Phil : 😨 That said, I love dark doo wop music
1:32 buddy sounded like Chris Chan
Oh this was the babd
Such a great song. Just wish I could listen to it without thinking about domestic abuse.
I didn’t know the signer was a guy, when I heard just the song a thought a girl was singing it
they made this sound so fun and innocent... also here's the backstory: christmas kids is about phil spector's relationship. he would threten his "loved one" with a gun. it gives me chills hearing this song
This is a great song, but relating it to something that was a real incident and was tremendous is giving me the creepy vibes. I love this song but if i see the lyrics i immediately think about the Backstory about this song. And the cover is both Phil Spector and Ronnie, which means to be related to the incident. The part "And love is a tower where all of us can live," means the part where Ronnie was locked with the twin children they adopted, they were locked in a tower. And the part "And leave this fucked up place behind, but i'll know, i'll know," Was meaned to be threatened to Ronnie if she is trying or is escaping, he will put her in a glass casket dead. And that is the horrific backstory and the dark story about this song.
the red lighting on phils wrinkles makes this look very eerie and psychotic
This is on the leaderboard of saddest songs I've heard, with 515 and Iowa on top there...
I really don’t like it it so mean miss UP
Somehow, knowing the backstory makes the song even better, but sad.😢
Bro I can’t even believe they can sing with such power and play so fast with such volume simultaneously- it’s insane
No ano em q eu nasci

When I listen to the lyrics of the full song, it felt a little bit suspicious. I understand what you’re saying.
