Check out Clarence Ma links interview on the Mark Maron podcast. Its amazing. He also did a nice interview on Vanity Fair's Little Gold Men. Two of the better podcast interviews with Coleman Domingo are the ones he did for Next Best Picture and I've Never Said This Before. They provide so much insight. Domingo shot this film in an 18 day span between filming Color Purple and Rustin.

Yikes. I was hopeful for this. Unfortunate.

Glad you dug this one, dude! It definitely has moments that will leave an impression...But there is so much wasted time in the middle of the film that could've been spent getting us attached to these characters to make the conclusion that much more impactful. I think Zoe Kravitz has a future as a director, but this one didn't really land for me. Great review, Josh!

I absolutely adore the first 2 alien movies and I saw them before planning to see Romulus this Sunday with my best friend. (This was his idea.) I can only hope that this is the horror movie that finally scares the ever-living shit out of me.
