Robert grenidge’s best solo arrangement ever!! he out did himself here.
An absolute flawless performance in the semi finals, they won easily in a canter.
Was just on my mind a great pan voicing by Robbie,G and me playin 😂

Found out it's the "Ying Yang" pan created by Bertie Marshall, from a totally credible Desperadoes source, if I'm wrong let me know! And yes Michael "Baw" Jules is making that Ying Yang pan Baw! This is why Radoes has such a powerful voice, the melody being played octave or octaves lower!
It's functioning like a low Quadrophonic. Brilliant.
thank god for desperadoes they continue to play clean and sweet music. why are we picking judges who quite clearly are favorites of some steel bands.but more import is disrespect for the steel band players who spends several quality hours rehearsing every nite.
That's the damn thing self!!!! That's why I believe steel band shouldn't be judged by who ever the hell they are!! get some different judges who don't have anything to do with panorama politics!!! For too many years too many people giving there sweat and time for their band and not getting nothin' for it! I don't just mean money, but satisfaction!!!

Kudos to the player, Michael "Baw" Jules, ace pannist. In the 1990s Phase II still used 3 of these 6-pan baritones, now it's only Despers who have them. Very few people play it.
