Another question, at min 14:38, why do you write the value of 0.516667 in the SOL_AWC parameter? If, in fact, that parameter is relative and positive (%), which indicates that it should be added to the given value, in this case 0.05. It would be 0.05+0.05*(0.516667) = 0.075833, that value should go in SOL_AWC.

Excellent video. A query. Why do I get too many files in the Sufi2 folder, for example 000010001 for each class, then 000010002 for each class and so on? Instead, you only get 000010001 and it ends there, then it goes to 000020001. In my case, each sub-basin is divided into many and it is difficult for me to calibrate when there are relative parameters.

First of all, I would like to thank you for this nice tutorial. You are skillful and you explain well. However, I would be thankful if you could help me to add terraces to SWAT model under the operation section. I have read it is possible by adjusting SLOPE Length SLOP (TERR_SL) and USLE (TERR_P) and the CN. But I have found, such adjustment is only possible on daily basis. But I am working for a quite long period 2020-2100. Is there any way to make it at a monthly or annual timescale? Or at least, adding an excel sheet to the operation section .. Your help is highly appreciated
You can add the terraces by making a grid or dem for it in the SURFER program, and then add the grid to the original demographic map of the study area through the Global mapper program, and thus use the modified demographic map that contains the heights of the stands in the implementation of the SWAT program

ماشاء الله عليك مشكور على كل الجهد الجميل ... ويبدو عليك, تبارك الرحمن متمكن من برنامج SWAT. اتمنى لو تقدر تساعدني مع جزيل الشكر .. انا عندي منطقة الدراسة تحتوي على مدرجات واريد ان اضيفها في المودل لا حتساب الجريان بشمل صحيح.. قريت ممكن ادراج terraces من خلال opt. بتعديل ال slope and CN and USLE P factor المشكلة وجدت التغيير بشكل يومي وانا اريد التغيير لمدة طويلة 50 سنة .. كيف يمكن ان نحل هذه المشكلة .. هل من طريقة لاضافة فترات شهرية او سنوية
يمكنك اضاقة المدرجات عن طريق عمل Grid or dem لها في برنامج سيرفر SURFER ةمن ثم اضافة ال Grid الى خارطة الديم الاصلية لمنطقة الدراسة عن طريق برنامج global mapper وبالتالي استخدام خارطة الديم المعدلة التي تحوي على ارتفاعات المدرجات في تنفيذ برنامج SWAT

Do I need to copy swat2012.mdb and paste it in the input file or in the project file under database or in the scenarios ??? I appreciate your help
@@bernardrobenson5071 بالنسبة للسؤال الاول فتقوم بتحويل البيانات الموجودة في الملف بعنوان crop.txt الى برنامج اكسل او تفتح الملف داخل برنامج اكسل ثم تحفظ البيانات باسم معين بالانكليزي بامتداد csv اي تحفظها مثلا بعنوان crop.csv , ثم تطبق نفس الشرح في فديو القناة بعنوان " Obtaining Weather Database of any country with UTM coordinates from Global Weather Database 2 of 7” ابتدءا من الدقيقة 29:40 الى النهاية ( مع الاخذ بنظر الاعتبار اجراء التغييرات المناسبة ). اما بالنسبة للسؤال الثاني فيتم وضع الملف بعنوان swat2012.mdb في هذا المسار ( C:\SWAT\ArcSWAT\Databases ) وكما موضح في فديو القناة بعنوان “ Some additions and settings before working on Arc swat 1 of 7”

Dandy - Bolton formula is often used to calculate the sedimentation yield. The formula uses catchment area and mean annual runoff as key determinants to give a yield value. It does not differentiate in basin wide smaller streams and their characteristics.

The main goal of Watershed Management is to implant the sustainable management of natural resources to improve the quality of living for the population is to be accomplished by the following objectives: 1. Improvement and restoration of soil quality and thus, raising productivity rates. 2. Supply and securely clean and sufficient drinking water for the population. 3. Improvement of infrastructure for storage, transport and agricultural marketing. 4. To manage the watershed for beneficial developmental activities like domestic water supply, irrigation, hydropower generation etc. 5. To minimize the risks of floods, droughts and landslides. 6.
