Brilliant Liz.... I came out of the R.A.F. so much better than when I went enrolled, Never Dwell on a Problem, concentrate on finding a Solution, Install it, MOVE ON... if your decision turned to Shit then you have learnt a lesson not to repeat. Regarding your O.D. and when you felt alone...I have come across Vets who are suicidal and explained that "Suicide is a Permanent Solution to a Temporary Problem!".... I am not a Shrink but for some reason I seem to attract those Vets who refuse to talk to Forces Shrinks but will just open up.... and I simply listen until they stop and often then look around embarrassed... I just ask them how they feel such as one Pongo Officer who replied he was OK.... I just said to him Lying Bastard...How do you really feel... He stared at me and I am looking at him. straight in his eyes.... He smiled and replied 'you Bastard'... then he really opened up. Love your Honesty and I want you to promise me "No More Silly O.D's" you see I am 88 in a few days and I have a lot of living to do....Life is GREAT....Never Never stop Challenging.
