It hasn't gone anywhere since I washed it, but I cleaned it again with Meguires waterless wash, and boy is it shiny now🤣. It'll be salty next week after we get this snow I wished for in the last video 🙏

I'm guessing you mean the power angle kit? I've thought about it, but at $700 and the few times I even get to use the plow, I just haven't found it that worth it yet!

It's not too bad towing in the snow, you just have to be extra aware of everything. It's definitely not the most ideal either, but it gets the job done.

Yes, the gate is a lifesaver. I'm glad I spent the extra few hundred for the spring assist. To date I have no complaints about this trailer. Definitely made way better than my old Carry-On that I had...

That's a pretty rude comment. And clearly you don't understand that time is money. It's not being lazy at all and In fact it can be good for the lawn to mulch leaves. Do you really think we are going to rake entire yards? You have no clue how long that would take. We would never leaf cleanups done and customers wouldn't be very happy.

While I appreciate your feedback we don't usually get enough snow or not melt off enough before we get more snow. In fact as of writing this we did get another snow 48 hours ago and most of the snow banks were gone from the first snow. I'm not generally piling snow up enough with an ATV to have to worry about this. As for the second part of your comment. You can see in the video I'm generally out when the storm is over and the roads are clear. Again we don't usually get enough snow that if the plow came through again that it would completely close in the driveway. I've also been plowing snow in different capacities for 15+ years so I've seen and done alot.

@VanLoweLawnCare This year has been up and down for us also. Deep snow and melt off a week later and snow again. Now we are experiencing temperatures below zero. Everyone has been getting snow south of us.

Yep, this was the last storm, just got another storm today, and just finished doing my driveway as I type this and the snow just stopped. I'll be hitting all my snow accounts tomorrow morning! And the strobe lights are definitely a good idea when working by the road for sure!

Yes I've considered that before, but my driveway is the only one I'd use it on, so I just run the shoes in the full down position. Most of the driveway is asphalt millings and what you were seeing was just the unpacked stuff from the middle getting scraped up!

It just occurred to me when I went to plow the driveway for the storm that hit us today that, I didn't have the shoes set correctly. I realized it tonight though and didn't push up gravel like you saw in this video. I was wondering why I was pushing so much gravel up! Looks like I have some work to do in the spring now! 🤦

Yes sir it is, I actually keep the four wheelers on actual plug in tenders since they are not ran often. But I'm really hoping the solar tender will keep the battery good on the mower this winter. It died when I went to start the mower the morning of that leaf cleanup, even though I started the mower a few days before that. I honestly suspect I'm going to have to change the battery this coming spring as it's the original. 🤦

They are alright. I think mine needed to be adjusted a little more, because the hitch height on my mower is a little high. So I think I needed to lower the actual sweeper a little more. But otherwise it got most of the leaves up.

Really depends on how warm or cool it is outside and if you can keep it in the sun. Also depends on how new and wet the wood is. When I did mine it was about a few days to a week at most

I know the battery is undersized for the mower, but being that this battery was provided to me for review I had no choice but to use it in the mower as I don't have any other Ego equipment. I also didn't give it a slow charge because I don't own a slow charger. I know I referenced my bigger battery, but this test was just simply to see how it would do in the mower and honestly it's a worst case scenario. I'm sorry I didn't run out to buy a slow charger or other ego equipment to test the battery to your standards. The battery is really just a backup in case I'm out mowing the few yards I do with the mower and happen to run the other battery out. I do also believe I did another video on this battery as well.

@@VanLoweLawnCare Sorry to be so harsh. Most of my post was about proper battery care. Since you want to use it as a backup, I would recommend you use it here and there throughout the season, run it down and charge it up. Don't let it sit on the shelf for a year or longer. For the winter, store both off the charger and in a warmer location than an unheated garage.

@joeshmoe7789 yep, the batteries are in the house for the winter. I don't like leaving any of my batteries, whether Ego or Milwaukee out in the cold. The backup Ego battery does still get used here and there. Sorry if I misunderstood your first comment!

It worked pretty decent! Can't say I wouldn't use it again in this situation.

While you can't actually remove the smell, the smell will go away after a few days!

If you do a lot of riding especially in water/mud and even plowing snow, it's a great idea to grease them. Think about it, they are split on the inside and there's really nothing sealing them from either side, so water will definitely get in. I have been doing this at least once a year, more would probably be better but so far mine are doing just fine!

That cute blocker does wonders for sure. And I can't wait to get some more close up shots next season. Time to up the production 💪

I only run the Chute Blocker. It's much more versatile.

Yep, I sold it at the end of that season because it needed new straps and even my MTD dealer couldn't get the straps. Otherwise it ran fine after I changed the spark plug out to an NGK instead of the Champion Plug.

Ok, maybe you are right! But if you don't want to pay for a genuine EGO battery, there are other options such as this one.

If you get on it right away it will definitely get on your clothes and tires a little bit, but after a few days to a week you should be fine. If you can leave the trailer in the sun that will help the oil soak in faster.

I've gone through a couple different switch setups, but I've finally settled on the STL 6 switch box. I bought a 7 way trailer cable and junction box and wired everything to that. Ran the 7 way cable into the truck and connected the cable to the wires on the box. Id try to link a video, but apparently I never posted it yet! I've been very happy though with this switch setup. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any more questions.

While I can't say society hasn't become lazy, this isn't being lazy at all. Holding a can upside down with the lame nozzles that the EPA requires on these cans is a pita! Not everyone is able to do so either. Some people simply can't use the EPA nozzles but still need to fill lawn mowers and other equipment with fuel. Some of the fill ports on machines are not easy to fill either. Take into account some tractors. You have to lift a can up on the hood and hold it upside down while balancing yourself on the tractor. This pump makes that operation that much easier.

So I've actually used my old one on a 15 gallon plastic drum. The problem I had with that was I didn't have a way to attach it to the drum. But if thinking of the correct gas caddy, then as long as you can attach the pump to the fill port, I'd agree it would work great with it!

No not at all. Once it drys and ages it gets a little bit lighter.
