Can you do an update video. Is there any one of these that has lasted for more than a few months? All the ones I keep buying keep failing.

They've gotten a little bit more expensive. Been eyeing one to improve some iOS ports of a crossplatform app I have. Would go for the newer M ones but starting at 8gb won't do it for development.

You're great at shilling it up. Love the enthusiasm. Thats what youtube is for, after all. I had looked at their cases for my new pro max. I've always had the Apple leather cases, but they no longer offer them obviously. They were by far the best leather cases in the game, not even close really, and the prices were very fair. Anyway, with the new camera control button and not liking the look of these psedo-leather bumper cases, I went with the Apple silicone case, on sale for $35. And you know, it looks great and feels great and it's very slim and sleek and all the buttons work as they should. If Nomad offered their non bumper leather case without the giant cutout for the camera control, I'd consider it. There is no way they're going to be able to recreate the Apple case with the "sapphire" glass embedded in there to cover the camera control thing. The dark green chrome xl did look interesting, but the premium over Ecco leather which I consider the superior product anyhow ain't worth it either. But just to be clear, the price is not a factor here. The real issue is that none of these cases work with the new phone as well as the Apple case. Idk why anyone would need anything more than what you call the "minimal" case. What exactly do we need these giant bulky bumper cases for? Have you seen Apple's cases? You think they want people to break their phones? Those cases are super sleek and offer all the protection 99% of folks would ever need. No terrible screen protectors required. sidenote. for a guy shilling overpriced phone cases online, you should learn the proper way to actually apply and remove them. They go and off "horizontally" aka the long way. One side at a time. Doing it vertically the way you're doing it is the way people damage their delicate cases.

I just don’t like cases. Ive used the Z fold ,3,4,5, S23,24 plus with no cases and now the IPhone 16 pro with no case

Not one of those cases are gonna protect your phone…go get an otterbox or any drop tech focus case with a screen protector and your welcome

2 questions - 1 when you unplug box can you use apple car play without having to go through the android splash screen? Meaning can you go back to normal oem settings when not using the adapter? 2- you ever use car play elite?

I appreciate the color/finishes. The only time I've ever used a case was back in the early days of plastic bodies (original and 3GS). I've never used a screen protector. Same for the Watch... never used a case. My iPad has a simple folio case and a paper-like protector but just because I like to take hand notes and draw a lot.

I don't really blame anyone, but it does seem weird for all these companies to focus so much on the colors of tech when we ultimately throw a case on everything that most of the time obscures the color. The current evolution of tech is at an interesting crossroads. Everything is so expensive and the drive to get the "newest model" without a huge performance ROI is an interesting obstacle for the developers.

I got a terrible rash from these cheap Chinese "silicone" bands. Never happened with apple bands. Also, the rubber on these cheap bands look like overcooked pasta, they are no match to apple bands.

I live on an island. Right now I can sell my m1 pro for a good price and just buy in the US the M3 pro for almost the same price. This will be probably the reason why I am going to buy the M3 pro

I don’t use wireless Carplay in my Honda Insight I seldom charge my Iphone any time other than in my car, so I use the wired connection. In my older Insight it was very touchy. My 2022 Insight connects reliably, as long as my Iphone is unlocked and on when I start the car.

Thank you dude. I have an iPhone 12 Pro, but the cable section is completely broken. I cannot even charge it without the wireless magnetic charging feature that iPhones have. I really miss being able to use Apple CarPlay, and I found out today that there are adapters. I wanted to wait until the iPhone 6 came out because I thought it would have good artificial intelligence features, but now I'm thinking about just spending 70 bucks or so on an adapter and waiting another year for the iPhone 17. That way Apple will have a year to iron out plenty of kinks with the iPhone 16 and the artificial intelligence stuff that they are rolling out in 2024 and 2025, and for about $50-$70 I'll be able to get back the CarPlay functionality that I sorely missed in the meantime.

As a lefty, I end up pressing the new camera quite a bit. I still like the phone. I'm not a heavy user so my battery life is fantastic compared to the iphone 12 I had. I for the 16 plus this go around.
