And for some reason when he mention Kalakaua and the water diversions it made me start thinking of hale naua. Then he mentions it like few seconds later. I gotta finish listening but more things clicking again. I'm already wondering if it has something to do with america turning 250 and if Lahaina had a part it would call for it by those in power to be a sacrificial spot. That's a good idea. I tell my family in Vegas, "haole go home". I tell them that because i can not go home myself, until they go home or I'm going to be in Hawaii all by myself. Vegas is not really the 9th island, depending yeah, on who you ask. But, I gotta' say, the Hawaiians over here have a good reputation for being decent people that helps us be welcomed. 25% or so of the population in Vegas are Hawaiian.
