What are your carb adjustments or should I just do it by ear?

So if I flip the wheel to put the sprocket on the other side. Should I flip the tire it’s self so the tred is going the right way?

I have the same exact bike, but I have a little problem. I want to put a 212 in it but the sprocket on the rear is on the wrong side. How would I swap it so it’s on the left?

​@Cheaphorsepower I would think the wire going into the pickup coil would need to be positive so as the reluctor goes past the pick up coil it sends a signal to the cdi. I suppose it could be a ground if that is the signal being sent to the cdi. In the event that wire that feeds the pick up coil no longer has power or ground i want to supply it so i can get this thing to run. thank you for any help.

@Cheaphorsepower I am having a hell of a time with a larger scooter. Originally i bought the scooter not running. I gotnit to run and just never got it back together so it sat for years. Recently i got a new carburetor and got it to run, sometimes. Intermittent no spark issue. I pulled the stator and ouck up coil and installed a new one. Now therebis no spark at all. Tested the coil and it's fine. No clue how to test the cdi box but it ded spark intermittently previous to this. I think its a 250, the guy that bought ut hramd new said he was told its a 250 and it takes a 250 stator. The valve cover says 170 and the single letter C opposite of the 170. I'm unsure if that has any meaning. It takes an 8 pin cdi box that is dc. The stator is dc also of course. The oick up coil is what i suspected to be bad before. When resistance tested it had no resistance. Two wires on the pick up coil. One to the cdi box and the other to a wire loom. What i need to know is, what is the wire from the pick up coil going to the wiring harness, not the one going to the cdi. Power or ground? On the side of the plug that comes from the bike one side to the cdi amd one to the wiring harness, i cant figure out if the wire that isn't from the cdi, the one going into the pick up coil, should that be supplying power or ground?

The air filter sticking out the side would kill the look of the bike

@Cheaphorsepower I still haven't found an adapter with a 90 degree bend. Is this the stock intake with a straight adapter in it? I find plenty of the straight type, i just need to find the right ID and OD. Is there an advantage to using the flat face bolt on type of carburetor over the standard type that pushes into the stock adapter? Still using a pwk but is one face type better than the other? I ask because i found the push in type for around 30$ the screw on type are cheaper. Just wondering if there is an advantage to either type or a specific model you recommend in a 26mm. It’s a pile of junk but a good option for homeowners that have to scrounge pennies just to get it. Otherwise spending a little more to go get an echo at Home Depot is a way better investment. And if you can really afford it an echo or stihl commercial trimmer ever better yet.

@Cheaphorsepower Can this carburetor be jetted low enough to work on a stock gy6? I seem to find that i should use a 24mm carburetor on a stock gy6, is a 28mm just fine? I have a few new maddogs on the way. What search words do you use to find the right cable to change to a cvk for a pwk? I truly appreciate your channel! I keep looking for the motorized bike carb adapter and it wont seem to show me an elbow type. I out in elbow and 90 in the search.

It stalls when I give it full throttle, it also turns on for a bit on the “run setting” then stalls

I have less that 3 hours of use on mine and I putters and stalls out when I give it full throttle.

Can I just buy a kickstart wiring harness and put it on my bike and not use the battery/starter and accessories

When you buy this motor it's good but remember to grease the transmission because they don't do it for you 100 cc full set

I’m currently trying to determine if I have a bad neutral switch sensor on a 1996 Honda Fourtrax 300, if it doesn’t happen to be the sensor, and could possibly be the sub wiring harness should I be able to rebuild the harness if I can find the part anywhere ?
