    From Louise - I have the crystal brilliance book and am going to be making the Lily necklace. In the recipe it says to use 10mg of 6/0 seed beads but in the instructions it refer to size 8/0 seed beads. Would you be able to let me know if I need to use 6/0's or 8/0's for this project. Many thanks. Kind regards. Louise

    Great book.... i am just getting into doing more with jewelry and wanted to ask Renee Kovnesky if i could make some of her things for a craft fair... I don't mass produce, no time... 2 jobs, but would like to know if i could get her permission, and most definitely credit her on all work... that is how it should be... I have been in touch with Jill Wiseman, Kelly Dale from off the Beaded Path, and Spoilt Rotten... all have nice things... Please let me know, so i can do whatever . Thank you Barbara C

    I have just received it from Amazon which is offering a 30% discount. The designs are so beautiful and the book is worth a lot more than the cost. I have ordered beads for five of the projects which should keep me busy for a while. I have read through some of the designs bead by bead and it is easy to follow. So even if you are a beginner/intermediate beater like me, have no fear. Just order the book, read through it like a magazine, then with a little bit of perserverence I am sure you will enjoy immensely the finished product. Happy beading.

    This book looks (from what I saw) like it might explain, have tricks & tips, in regards to *how the funkin' hell people weave together different individual weaves and other bits of elongated metals that all come together, correlated with crystal/s or stones, to make those incredibly intricate and beautiful "Heady Wraps",* but I can't quite tell for sure... What would you tell someone this book really teaches? If I were to buy it, would I come out the other side, after reading the book, understanding the fundamentals and execution of how to create "heady wraps" (God, I hate saying that phrase, haha)? Well none the less. This book looks interesting.

    The preview shows beautiful, beautiful pieces. That kind of work appeals to me but I have a hard time following books and I get stuck with the books and no products. Will you or do you have a website that will help people who have purchased your book and are having trouble completing a piece?

    • @beadsbicycleblooms
      @beadsbicycleblooms 6 лет назад

      I work with people to help solve problems. One technique that works well if you are stuck at a step is to video the piece in construction and ask the question with needle, thread, and beads about the specific stumbling block. Say something like "At step 6 you say to pick up a 11/0 bead and pass thru the crystal. Is this what you mean?" Showing in the video where you think you should be going. I know that might sound hard, but I've had students ask just that way via Facebook messenger and it is a perfect way for a good answer.
