As for Cam “the Man” I know he was hurt back in the summer BUT the Eagles did NOT release his name as part of a list of players who are either injured or unavailable for this tour (that list includes Sam Golla, Luke White, Bryce Campbell and Tommaso Boni) so maybe that’s a oversight and Dolan is still recovering from injury or he has quietly declined wanting to play during this tour. And yes I’m very excited about Anthem this coming 2025 season….maybe looking to invest in buying one of their jerseys lol 🤔

@@StuBillyHardy thank you for the insight. I heard the rumors of the SAR nations refusing to restart the Americas Cup, but didn’t hear a clear reason why. Now it all makes sense. As you said though, with the future “Nations Cup” a lot of these hurt feelings could easily change.

@@kokomo4718 I’ll be honest brotha, the program I use either runs super slow when I try to record anything higher than 480p or completely crashes. It’s gotten me so fed up in the past. I’ll try to record the next one in a higher quality and see how it goes 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@@moldymactavish welcome to the channel! I’m a Los Angeles native, so I’m a huge supporter of Rugby Football Club Los Angeles (RFCLA) also I work for them as the PA at home games. As for national teams I’m Japanese American, so I root for both USA and Japan (which has been tough these last few test matches) Again welcome to the channel, the MLR season is going into the playoffs but if you want to check out all the games of the 2024 season they are available free on The Rugby Network app. I’m always curious to hear how international fans view rugby competition in America.

@@dogmai16911 Yeah I think it really looks really positive from the outside. There's so much potential in the US, but from what I understand the sport is typically only played by university students? It seems more pathways are needed to go pro. I'm a harlequins fan btw :)

@@moldymactavish hmmm maybe at first mostly university students but I feel in the last decade rugby in America has expanded to all age levels. Actually LA has one of the biggest rugby youth programs In the country. So it is getting bigger plus with MLR and Premier Rugby Sevens which is our fledgling Pro Sevens league, I feel we are creating a define pathway for rugby player to go pro. Also that’s awesome about being a Quinns fan. Back when I was able to watch Premiership Rugby, the Harlequins were my team with Danny Care, Joe Marchant and a guy I’ve dubbed the crown “dark prince of rugby”; Marcus Smith. Haven’t been able to watch any Premireship in a while but will always have a spot for the Harlequins.

@@russellstgeorge6189 honestly wasn’t too far off. Dallas is that team that proves you can grow any franchise into a well competitive team. To go from year one, 0-16 to making the playoffs in year three, says a lot. I feel all three of the new teams this year; Miami, RFCLA and Anthem have the potential to do the same as the Jackals

@@davehurbon1809 tbh I haven’t heard a thing. From my understanding, MLR is NOT having any association with WER at this point…that could change. As well as World Rugby could easily get involved at some point. But Right now I have not heard anything. As for teams; considering it’s pretty much going to run off of the WPL, I would look at the current teams now and make a safe bet most of the initial franchises will come from those current locations.

Honestly I like the idea of Boise, has a very strong sports culture identity imo. Instant rivalry with Seattle and Utah….could be a potential expansion….
