I'm surprised Bandai did not pursue this kit and just let Meng do the honor considering their first PG kit was the EVA-01. The kit sure is massive and very imposing once completed. But I'm a bit disappointed that it's not very detailed. It's like an oversized HG kit. Also, why no light-up function on the shoulders. Anyway this is my dream kit and I'm so glad Meng decided to release version 1.5 to fix issues from previous version.

Nice to see there's a build video for this kit. How massive was the box and what sanding tools did you use for it? Edit: also crazy that you started bleeding from this kit 😭 And whats that cotton bud you used to apply the decals? Seems really good for that

To anyone reading this, does this kit suffer from the same loose joints as the original 1.0 version. Specifically the loose hips and shoulders.

Looks great! Does the 1.5 come pre painted or with a special coating? The underside of the parts look shiny while the visible parts look matte while you're building.

I like the feeling it gives of S1 when they were in mars, the machines are abit more dirty and rough due to the conditions they battle in, this is really faithful to those more upclose artpieces to the units we have. Great work ❤
