When I compare the productions from other countries-it reveals how inefficient "Hollywood" is. Take for example the Turkish TV show Resurrection: Ertuğrul. The show had 5 seasons each with 26 to 35 episodes-each episode spanned 2 to 2.5 hours. And they only filmed 3 months out of the year (because of rains). That's 65+ hours of release film in 12 weeks. That's 5 hours or more of usable film produced every week. I know some TV shows do 5 half hour shows-but these have indoor sets and usually not much action. That's not to mention that the dialogue and the skill of the actors is completely distinct. Comparing the lacking output of productions in the "U.S." seems to leave plenty of time for prominent actors to play dual roles. Salud.
